Will do, I love hiking in the hills, hard to hike on one good leg... Of course there are exceptions to everything, some people cover more ground with the loss of both legs than I do. But I could do without the pain.

Glad you enjoyed it, yes I had a wonderful time, twist excluded.... But isn't that the story of life, It's not about how you get knocked down, but rather how you pick yourself back up.... And it just reinstates what dad us to say to me all the time. The further you go in the woods the slower you go, because the further you are away from help if something goes wrong. Just a freak knee twist because the toe of my boot got stuck up in that little pocket of the running board. I have had my toe in there a million times.... Just crazy...

Glad you enjoyed it, I was never bad, and she was a very nice teacher, but I was dyslexic and she would get all the students to take a turn reading out loud so I always tried to be the class clown and tossed out of class before it was my turn to read. Never knew I was dyslexic until I did my testing for the forces. I qualified for every trade in the forces except pilot and air traffic controller. I guess they didn't want me to scramble up coordinates for either.

Thanks Mike, yes slowing down is something you think about, but never truly want to do... Me, I want to chase one another to the next until I drop... Slowing down sounds like something old guys do... But deep down I know I'm not as young, strong or coordinated as I once was and if I want to keep doing this into my 80's and 90's I need to start behaving wiser now as the 60's are getting very big in the window... Crazy how fast time goes.

Yes time does go by way to fast. We are getting ready to book camp sites for the summer. Heading to NB this year. We are planning to get back to Nfld next summer and head for the Avalon. Will let you know if and when. I have a few years on ya. I try to do what i want when i can, can't tell the future. All the best to you and Karen.
