Breaking news 800hp car is faster than 500hp car!!!!

I was lucky enough to drive a stock 720s for 15 minutes and that thing truly makes you a superhero, I cant believe you can actually just buy one if these things. Ive driven alot of fast cars, but the 720 is the only one that made me feel true fear/respect for it on the track, its freaking confidence insoiring batshit crazy.

Great driving. Insane car to handle I have a 950hp tuned 720s and it’s by far the most inasane car I’ve ever driven nothing comes close to the power and numbers they put down such a great car💚

excellent video, you are correct that this McLaren destroys any car on the track of Monza but there is no point of comparison between the GT3 of natural aspiration with 500Hp and the Turbo 3.8 engine tuned 800Hp of the 720S, greetings from Venezuela

The stock 720S was the fastest car that I have ever driven ( in Italy and in that exact color!) by a huge margin! The car is unbelievable light and agile. The power is overwhelming. Even the 600 LT that I rode shotgun in the Nordschleife is like that. I’m a Porsche 911 owner and I know for a fact that only a equally well driven GT2 RS will have a chance! Congrats!

Amazing when you realize that it’s a luxurious and comfortable gt car that you can drive everyday and it is dominating the track focused super cars that Ferrari and Porsche have to offer. The 720s is an amazing vehicle.

The 720S already puts out 790-800hp stock. It's univerally known that they producing way more than the quoted 720hp. Every dyno video of a stock 720S produces a wheel horse power result of 689-690. If this is car is tuned it will be producing at least 850BHP. A 9911 GT3 has zero chance against even the stock 720S. The GT3 weighs about the same and has almost 300hp less!

What a dumb title. Given a stock 720S is faster and more expensive than a GT3 RS it'd be pretty shocking if it wasn't "destroying" them on track, especially with a tune and more expenses. Nothing to brag about.

Not at all a fair comparison. Car worth twice the price of the GT3s with 300hp more and with turbo torque to go with it. Speaking of which, anyone notice how much lag this car had... wow. The driver also seems to be a lot more aggressive overall than the other drivers on track.

Sound-wise GT3 and GT3RS destroys any McLaren. OK, F1GT not so much, but any modern McLaren.

When I stopped correctly the last round was one minute and 56 seconds. I was some days before in Monza with my GT3 CUP 2008. The only other car street-legal faster than me was a GT2 RS. My fastest time that day was 1.57. But with very used slicks.

A 720s owner once said. That Mclaren nailed it with this car. It's Hypercar level performance with a supercar price. That being said it is one of the fastest production supercars made. Tuning turbo upgrade etc has already been figured out up too 1500 hp so far by a company called Hypercar Development which builds these cars into monsters from a 12c-720s they have you covered of course that comes at a price. When I last looked at pricing they only had the 1200hp option at a cost of around $132,000. That being said I am sure the 1500hp isnt much more. Now take the cost of a brand new 720 with mark up right now probably close to $340,000 add the cost of a 1200hp option an your almost $500,000 an afterwards you have a car that is as fast as a car that cost 2.5 million "Regera" but its still not a Regera its still only a 1500hp 720s. I'm not debating if a Mclaren is better than a Porsche that boils down to personal preference. But I will say your not getting 1500hp in a GT3 or GT2 RS an still driving it unlike with a 720s because the cars are designed for 2 different purposes. Believe it or not 2 guys that kinda know how to drive their cars no more than 2 f boys street racing, 1 Hurcan LP 610-4 with a VF-engineering supercharger an tune boosted to 800 crank hp against a stock 720s an the 720s spanks it in a quick drag race. Now you can say driver error an all but the real reason is because Mclaren being such a small car manufacturer and a F1 race team an developer they spend tons of money on R&D where as Lamborghini is owned by none other than Volkswagen auto group an SO is Porsche. That being said Corporate only allows them to invest so much time an money into the cars. Unless they are Hypercars like the 918, Centenario, Aventador or Bugatti oh yes thats right the Bugatti is just a glorified VW BUG with a v16 4 turbos an carbon body. Point is you can't compare a production car to a track build car.

Lovely track, I remember it well on my Atari STE in the early 90's... F1 game... I must have done 1000's of laps... Very fast track, not too technical but extremely fast. McClaren will feel @home here.

I love that you left the Dash up for us so we can see what speed you're doing, but it would be awesome adjust the camera so that the view out the windscreen wasn't so washed out. That Mclaren is absolutely ballistic!! Amazing car!
