In this video we make a complete turbo kit on our 83 Ford Fairmont Futura big block twin turbo car out of a set of street rod lakester headers and a couple of truck step bars off of wrecked trucks. It crazy what you can make work when your cheap. The engine is a 454 big block chevy that we built on the channel that has forged h beam rods, hyperutectic dome pistons, and used Procomp aluminum heads. Engine management is Holley Terminator X max that will also control our 4L80E transmission. Can't wait to see what this Fox Body will run like at the drag strip. Thanks for watching more updates coming soon.

I’m not affiliated with them in any way other than using the app but Acorns is also awesome for saving money. It rounds up to the next dollar amount and puts it aside for ya. It’s like saving your change basically. You can also double or triple amount saved if ya want it to add up quicker. So instead of putting.25 cents aside it would do .50 or .75 depending on your settings.

Keep in mind you have to remove any welding slag or anything to get sucked into your turbo's. A person I knew welded everything nicely but didnt clean the pipes out so the turbo's got destroyed.

I'm 53. When I was a kid my dad took me to the auto show in New York City and we saw that Fairmont futura and I was in love with this. Something about the way those rearview mirrors connected to the car impressed me immensely as a little kid. I promised you a book a few months ago.its every American car from 1920 to 1980 with detailed specs. It is the best book ever I promise. We recently moved and I got lots of stuff all over the place but I promise I will send it to you and I promise you will love it It is that good

Hey Josh. I'm with Ralphie on this one - the "rough and ready" look to the piping looks good. If anything at all, give it a dusting of flat black exhaust paint so it looks factory, but leave the welding exposed unless something needs protected from the heat in order to show the hard work and dedication that went into making the project happen. Like you, I can't wait to hear the beast roar into life and I don't think it will be any kind of slouch when you hit the loud pedal, eh! All the best

I've done similar on a British car notorious for overheating called the Triumph Stag. I hammered together a fitting kit out of parts and bits from a hardware store a relay kit for heavy duty spotlights and a fan from the back of a other friend's garage. I slotted this thing in and ran it off the relay with a switch on an ign live. Worked amazing and circumvented the lack of space Infront of the 3litre V8. Definitely worth a shot.

Keep the saying - IF IT RUNS IT RACES.. no matter what happens.. I just love the family Involvement In your car builds, something that never happened at my house sadly.. Very impressive to watch you make all these pipes and that you had your wife & kids welding too. When I built my 2.3L mustang I was considering a turbo or blown intake but decided I didn't need 700HP for just a highway car that went really fast. The one thing I am glad I did was port out the oil galley ways from 1/4" to 5/16". The 2 long ones run front to back and after porting, tap for a new 3/8-16" plug. I only ran into one header bolt hole to which I bottom tapped & inserted an allen screw and shortened that header bolt. It ran 60lbs. oil pressure for almost 200,000 miles.

You guys are the stars. That is the draw, you could be making RC planes I would watch. Shoot, I'd probably be entertained watching you guys go on a cruise.

Another awesome video Sleeperdude family. I love how this build is going. What is nice, you are showing regular people how to put together a twin turbo car for drag racing. I really enjoy how each one of you gets involved in the build as well. That is great. Have a very blessed week. As always, Rocky comes in (along with Granny) and tries to eat all the shop up and steal the show!

Awesome video with major family participation in all aspects of the build. Happy Birthday Wawa. Daddys little girl is growing up fast. My baby girl is 40 and it seems like yesterday she was Wawas age. Cherish each and every day with her.

Add the part numbers for the turbos. Would like 1 for my 1991 Chevy Short Wide Pickup. It’s one of the ones that had Sport on the back of the truck. In the Air Force we called Engineers Ignorant Ears.

Hey I just got curios from your previous video on the timestamp 47:01 where I noticed a window AC unit in the back of one of your cars, I was curios whether it would work because if it would or it's fixable it would be a great backup for the RV! I posted a comment on that video but you missed it which is fine, I understand you don't have the time to read all the comments so I'm trying again today, Have fun!

😁😁😁 Only some minutes in this video and I'm giggling already. Simply because I absolutely love your high standard work safety gear, especially your top quality safety flipflops! 🙈 They're even better (respectively actually more worse) than the (leather?) safety sandals the Pakistani truck channel "mechanics" wear. I'm sure, such a big exhaust manifold or angle grinder is not really heavy/sharp and couldn't cut your feet/toes or, even more important, couldn't damage your flipflops! 😱😁 ;-) Sleeperdude family, please take good respectively better care of yourself! I say that the burned toes from hot metal shavings have just been a slight warning from your guardian angel not to be too carefree. And please, please don't forget what a lot of utubers often forget: You are in public and therefore responsible for what you show in your videos. Additionally you're a kind of role model for other people! Thanks in advance for consideration. Best regards, luck, especially health and wisdom (but not too much from the last one). 😁 ;-)
