Yeah, what is that weird reddy/brown stuff thats on everything he finds? its not rust because its on the alloy and other, non metal bits. I starting to think its sprayed on beforehand for production value effect.

No, it's due to oil content. Wherever the oil stays, no any part will get rusty. Also engine parts metal use galvanised.

Awesome job. Good ideas for my little 50cc Puch Borrasca project. I will make a speed light bike, no lights, no fenders, reducing weight to max. no tuning kit, it will stay a 50cc high rpm.
