As a guy who grew up in a PBR family, had this thing existed when I was a kid in the 70s/80s; A TON more work could have been done in the same time as the processes that took HOURS to pull just one dent! That "Make money or your money back" 90 day guarantee is awesome! THE best kit they have, as seen in this video, is ALL the bells and whistes you can get OR need for only 4k. You can EASILY make THAT back, in less than a week, in a body shop that stays busy.

I always hated it when metal workers immediately cut a panel ore a seal out to fix dents. After you welded in a new piece the heat will have burned off you’re cautiously applied zinc or epoxy primer on the inside and your rust protection is gone, especially in those in accessible cavities. The same thing happens when they don’t cut out the sheet metal but weld studs on it to pull the dent out. The heat of welding is so intense that it burns the OEM protection on any spot where are you put such a stud. I know you can work with waxes and shit to protect it but most body shops don’t even do that, but if they do it will never give the same level of protection as an OEM one again. So I say A PERFECT SYSTEM!
@dbuckley100
@dbuckley100 Жыл бұрын
These non invasive systems weren't always around though, so cutting and welding for repairs was absolutely necessary at times... replicating OEM finishes is always the aim for a good skilled body guy...and can be achieved realistically back to 95% original, it's the process and knowledge always seperated the guys who were skilled enough to get as close to OEM as possible and the guys who didn't know how to. This system looks great though, with the size of it, it seems to be marketed more towards bodyshops than pdr...which makes absolute sense...the dent in this video would still have to have a tight skim of filler and need painting to get right but no invasive pin pulling or removal of panel protection inside. And with everything going electric glue pulling is definitely the safer option 👍
