Honestly, every craft room should have space set aside for wrestling. Love what you did with the room. You've inspired me to tackle my own catch-all room, which is SUPPOSED to be my Lady Lounge (think Man Cave, only more awesome because it's mine).

I was a pretty clean person then Covid and sudden onset osteoarthritis along with rapid muscular atrophy. Suddenly, I'm living with two men who live like hoarders, and i cannot leave my own room. Three cats and a dog I can't tend to and BAM, there you are.

What do you mean by mediums? Something to do with channeling? I used to knit and sew (there was a need like a warm sweater for my son or myself or linen or alike) and now it's been more than 5 years that I've been doing nothing! I even abstain from mending! And my son is currently doing nothing, but he had a hobby: drawing and painting and "sculpture" (till he was about 15). I bout him a child skeleton for drawing with a series of magazines on Human Anatomy and its been really weird since my first purchase. Now he studies nursing at a medical college, so the skeleton is still for a noble purpose. But your words about the mediums and devil worship...

I'm nuclear level ADHD and my hubs is on the autism spectrum and I've learned if it's not in a clear container, and the spot where it goes is labeled, we're fucked. I had just convinced my gallbladder, not to chew it’s way out of my body when you suddenly mention, butt yarn. That was it. I laughed so hard, I woke up the very angry gallbladder, and now I am in agony again. You’re the best! 🇨🇦🇨🇦

Great video! Thank you for allowing the sounds and not just covering everything with music! That seems pretty common out there. Nothing wrong with it, of course. The 'other' sounds are calming to me. I'm one of those people who likes to chill with vacuum sounds. Go figure.

The yarn on the shelf looks good, but it will collect dust and fall down. It's also a waste of space. She needs clear boxes and labels. Stack maximum 2 boxes on top of each other or buy/build shelf with more shelves to avoid stacking. It's better not to move the boxes too much to keep them in place. And she needs drawers for her resin stuff. This would help her so much with keeping everything organized and clean.

If you haven't made her shelves yet... seriously think about shelves on wheels. I've done it in my art room. Best thing ever. Easy to change to have space for whatever my heart wants to do.

If you don't have anything to dust with and you have an old sock, dampen it and put it on your hand to wipe away dust. Just rotate the sock to the clean part, then rinse, wring & repeat 😁

I want to thank you!!! When Covid hit, two of my rooms (my home office and guest room) became unused and junked. Weird how that happens when rooms aren't used. Inspired by several of your recent videos, I tackled both rooms today. And whallah... I now have two beautifully uncluttered and clean rooms. My office now is a cross between sewing/crochet room and office to ensure it gets used regularly. Will be working on the garage tomorrow (if the weather warms) to make sure no junk out there creeps back into the house!! Please keep your videos coming.. (the ones without the music but with your informative and entertaining voice overs).

One way to organize that box of tangled cords is to use the empty toilet paper rolls to confine the cords, and it’s easy to label them also.

This is so nice of you to do this. As a crafter I know how much easier it is to have my supplies organized. My poor husband is sometimes getting skewered with a yarn needle or coming across a small ball of yarn hiding in the couch...I guess that's butt yarn too lol...oh, and you have just found some of your wife's hidey holes for yarn. All of us yarnies have them, like squirrels!

Craft rooms are difficult, especially if you don’t do those crafts but you did a great job! I would have put all the glitters in one of those nice Lacey baskets, then other things related to that in others, maybe resin bottles in the largest basket. That wool should have been colour coded, all the whites together and placed on the top graduating down to darks on the lower shelf- you’ll know for next time lol

Watching many of your videos yesterday evening and today, I just stopped for 30 minutes to help a struggling lazy mother to see her dining table' s colour again. It's done. My dining table is actually white. Very happy. Back to KZfaq, thanks for the motivation

As a "Die Hard"(had to get the Christmas reference in) crafter, husband says, I'm a hoarder. I come from a long line of hoarders. Love them dearly, but I'm overwhelmed when things build up. Putting like items together helps me. I don't keep buying supplies(I use what I have). At some point, I have to say fifty pairs of scissors is enough 😆.

I can recommend ikea’s shelf units that have plastic drawers, they come in loads of different configurations, the units themselves, the drawers…they are great for crafts and toys.

I love your videos. They have been so helpful for me. We are moving and the process of packing is overwhelming and overstimulating. I have started using the "staging table" technique and it really does allow me to sort and delegate much better. Love your humor too, it makes light of what is sometimes a stressful or mundane task. Ok. I am a hardcore crocheter myself and yarn purchasing is an addiction. 😂 Buy only for 1 project at a time and store that project in a basket! Hobby Lobby is not going anywhere. You can always buy more as needed.

Hi watching your vids for the first time and hoping to get inspiration from you. I have a hoarder craft room like no other. I should open my own craft store w all I have. Getting rid of stuff is a big prob I have tried to clean it but I just get overwhelmed and I end of piling on more stuff. Year after year my New Years res is to clean craft rm out. If you ever have to do yarn organizing again, those shelves with the "X" shaped inserts often meant for wine bottles are a fantastic way to store yarn because they won't roll off the shelving. Not sure how common they are in your area, but they work great.
