In this crucial but often frustrating step of the 3d process, I show some simple tips to help get your UV unwrapping done in no time.
I talk about workflow tips, seam placement, add-on use, and how to pack your UV's with minimum distortion, and how to give more texture space to the areas that need it while reducing it for those that don't.
Getting this step right is vital for getting a clean bake for our bevel shader and surface details that we'll be working on in the next video. As well as for texturing down the road.
