Justin Boller don't see a lot of panels being repaired to a metal finish these days. Everyone just slaps mountains of filler on and calls it a day. It's a damn shame.

Excellent repair Arthur. Up to complete Mercedes-Benz standards. I do like your use of the seam sealer looks real factory. Also the corrosion inhibitor is an excellent choice for protection. Once again you sure get to work on the nice cars. Thanks for a great video and take care.

Mr5onny You got that right. He does amazing work considering what he is given to work with. Wouldn’t fly in a certified shop, but much worse repairs are done every day at DRP shops in America.

legioner9 The rail is high strength steel, no welding is allowed. Typically Mercedes replacement rails are riveted in.

legioner9 You can weld whatever you want. Mercedes and most OEMs do not recommend this type of repair. That really doesn’t mean much, this repair is only going to be a problem in a very serious accident. Even then it may be okay. The OP said it was a Mercedes type repair, it is not.
