Unfortunately I know a person like the plaintiff. They shift the blame to everyone but themselves for the misfortune and misery in their lives and think the world owes them. For those of you that are saying they were having an affair: The reason most people won’t move to evict a tenant from an illegal dwelling is because once the eviction is filed the courts will come after the owner to break down the apartment. This means that the owner will have to pay hefty fines to the city and literally break the walls of the bedroom/kitchen/bathroom. The landlord would be required by the city to hire a licensed contractor for the job as well. I believe that’s the real reason why he wasn’t moving to evict tenant.

He’s right abt the cable bill. I use to work for both the cable and the electric company. And since he said he was the owner if there was a bill left they won’t put it anyone else’s name to avoid fraudulent changes.

Both of these men are liars. The tenant found out the landlord had an illegal occupancy and used it against him. The landlord could have had him legally evicted but was scared to do so. The judge made a good decision.
