My honorable mention... Cw's "Reaper" was funny and lovable with Ray Wise and Tyler Labines performances. Good plot to follow with twists and turns. It's a shame it got canceled after 2 seasons.

Firefly got picked up just as James Cameron's Dark Angel got the boot. While on their way to the offices of the broadcaster who said they were happy to pick up Dark Angel, James got a phone call saying Dark Angel season 3 wasn't getting picked up by said broadcaster after all.

I think that Tru Calling which ran from 2003-2005 and Point Pleasant which ran for one season in 2005 should’ve made this list or should’ve at least been honorable mentions

There was two shows I remember that fall in this category 1. John Doe starring Dominic Purcell and B. Freakylinks which was a Blair Witch style paranormal show

I thought The Dresden Files was great. I can't believe it lasted only one season. I was also shocked when I found out that the lead actor whose character has a thick New York or Chicago accent was actually British. I think I will need to start reading the books.

@@neilthehermit4655 - Thank You for the INfo. What is the first book in the SEries? What do you think is the best book or one of the best book in the Series? Maybe the top 2 or 3 books in the series- in your opinion?

@@HoldenNY22 Storm Front is the first in the series. - Warning, you should read them in the published order as there is a definite evolution in the characters and the writing style. I have an affection for the first three, probably because I could see the most improvement in quality of writing ( not that any of them are bad), and I enjoy seeing a author develop. Storm Front, Fool Moon, and Grave Peril are the first three. Some people didn't like the latest two published, perhaps because of the 'tying up' of various loose plot themes. But I still like them. If you enjoy them, look out for Benidict Jacka and Ben Aaronvitch, who have similar ideas and worlds. Enjoy.

Dresden Files also didn't win over a lot of the book series fans because it barely resembles the source material.

Firefly being canceled after one season is truly a travesty. I still maintain It is the greatest canceled Show of all time. I’ve probably binge watched it four or five times easily. And I’m glad y’all mentioned The Tick. I’ve never seen it, but Patrick Warburton is an awesome actor. I’ve always thought he was hilarious and I specially love him dressing up as the Tick alongside Michael Dorn dressing up as Worf In Ted 2. The only way that would’ve been funnier was if they had swapped costumes for the comic con.

I've watched The Tick seasons a bunch of times, because it is so good and I am so sad we will never see more. The Fox series was such a blast and the Amazon series was just setting up for what seemed like a really interesting direction for The Tick and Arthur and the way the Amazon series takes some liberties in creating new characters and who doesn't like the boat being obsessed with Arthur? Ugh, such a shame.

The fugitive from 2000 with Tim Daly was was never given a chance and putting it on the Friday night death slot didn't help then it getting cancelled on a massive cliffhanger after just one series.

I was talking about "The Tick", then moved on, to "Rocky and Bullwinkle", and offered a suggestion; then moved on, to Warner Brothers other Cartoons, and while I was checking something out, My Comment went "phdffft". What happened? If You don't want to hear, what I have to say, just tell Me, and I won't Comment. See Ya. As far as "Rocky and Bullwinkle, are concerned, along with Dudley DoRight, and Cartoons associated with "Rocky and Bullwinkle"; those were classics, even if "dated". I still remember Aesop Jr.'s response: "Dad, Time "wounds" All "Heels"." I think an "up-dated", "Rocky and Bullwinkle", would work. God knows, there's plenty of material, out there, and it doesn't have to be "crude", to be "witty".
