Following the traditional marriage, Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja and her ‘Odogwu Silencer’ husband Ugo Nwoke, there have been allegations that the 33-year-old actress is the 4th wife of the well-known Imo State business mogul.
Controversial blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus in a post, alleged that Ugo Nwoke’s marriage to Sharon is his fourth marriage, claiming that Sharon is his fourth wife.
According to Stella, Ugo, who she claims is in his early 50s, has reportedly been married three times before and had divorced all the women.
She stated that Ugo had been married to two black women and a white lady in the past.
The third marriage which reportedly ended in 2023 produced three sons.

It is also not enough to say it’s okay to live in the moment because there is always a heavy negative impact and consequences on all parties involved in a marriage if the marriage becomes unsuccessful. The importance of making an informed choice is that one should be ready to bear the consequences of their decision and choices . Divorce not only affects couples, it also affects the children of the marriage relationship and society at large.

Some of the second speaker's comments were quite shallow. While it may be true that "Nigerians are very judgemental", it doesn't mean that the points "Nigerians" have raised are not valid. Amaka's "live in the moment" comment is horrible horrible advice. "Living in the moment " in this context will have severe consequences in the future. Secondly, i do think that parents should allow children make some mistakes but not one that's critical as marriage. Marital mistakes cost a whole lot ranging from death to disfigurement to lost opportunities etc. People really have to be careful with the kind of advice they dole out on social media because there are alot of young people who need and are genuinely looking for direction that they can't get in their homes. Kudos to the first speaker, she was able to share a balanced perspective.

You see, let's not act like red flags are not called red for a reason. You can live in the moment for 3 months and spend 10 years to recover from what happened in those 3 months. Do not marry someone thinking if it doesn't work, you'll come out if it doesn't work. You need to ask us who have been divorced to know how well women cope with divorce. And please don't think money is the issue. You can be financially well off and still commit suicide from the complications that come out of divorce.

Mine was a year courtship but you know it was short because in marriage he had a child he didn't tell me about then later after his death,he had 2 other children he didn't tell me. The marriage was already shaky before his death and I was planning to leave then mysteriously he fell sick then died. She said she had just come out of a broken relationship when she met her man. Did she heal from that? I doubt. That guy is capable of sleeping a lady off her feet. Obviously, she'll discover the guy's own mistakes and errors that contributed to ruining his past three marriages. Those weaknesses are always there. They don't leave. She would then decide if she would be able to cope with them or leave too. Even if the guy was innocent in all the marriages, she will still find out something about him that will make her realise why those marriages never worked out. In every divorce, both parties are guilty. One may just be guilty than the other.

Sharon married for two reasons: Money and age. She's 34, for a Nigerian, she's considered " old" for marriage. She decided to say yes because she wants children now. The next is purely, he has money! All this talk about living for the moment stems from the perceived financial status of the groom. If he was just a regular Joe, we would have buried him with the red flags. I agree that him having been married before, no matter the number of times, shouldn’t condemn him forever; but, if it’s true that the last one was not even up to 2 years, then she should have dated him for a longer period before tying the knot with him. In fact, he should have insisted on dating for a longer period. And his being married three times before wasn’t the only allegation - there was the matter of him not being who he was said to be and defrauding his second wife. If true, are those also red flags to be ignored? I’m truly curious.

Tbh as long the husband is open and throughly transparent with her if all these rumours are true, and they continue to do counselling and they have support around them it can work. People are also forgetting that it was her sisters that introduced the guy to her, therefore I’m pretty sure the family/ sister did their own due diligence/ background check and whatever they need to do.

Some mistakes lead to trauma and sometimes even generational trauma and DEATH. My dad always say prevention is better than CURE Prayer prayer prayer (as a christian) is so important. Marriage should not he taken lightly and its more than love. There are also certain requirements as christians that is laid out clearly. You should enter into marriage with prayer, Godly counsel and wisdom and discernment. Better to marry right according to God's will (as a christian) then marry wrong.

Hmmmm......see angle. I love your angle. I was scared too...but why I can agree with you is the story of Steve Harvey. He's also had 3 marriages and he said 'I made mistakes then which I have now grown to correct'. He's still with Marjorie and they both co-parent about 7 children. So I believe that if a divorcee has matured and the new partner can work with it, it's better than 'married once' but cheating everywhere. God help us all.
