When I first met my boyfriend he dedicated this song to me since I was in a very fragile state and eventually he did get 5 seconds into my heart which eventually turned into a lifetime of happiness. He's now in the Marines and hearing this song makes me so happy when he's away for so long.

That was our song. Five Seconds. I heard it blasting from my receiver. This time, it was like a canon shot right to my chest. And I thought to myself. Man, Georgie must’ve gotten himself in some serious rift to be pushing five seconds so hard. He loved to push his luck. Rich like a cat. He had way too much of. Always landing on his feet. He did it. Twin Shadow aka George Lewis Jr. is from Dominican Republic and he grew up in Florida, and I beleive this album was recorded in Los Angeles. He does some producing and remixes for other artists as well.

variety is good for the soul ^___^ i've never much understood why people go ape-shit aggro over music that merely disagrees with their tastes... or why they insist on downthumbing and screaming shit in ALL CAPS and slandering folk for liking stuff. I just read a bit on wikipedia about electropop and how when it first appeared it alienated almost everyone.. one source referred to it as "art fag" music and some of the earliest rock afficianados were dubbing it "adolf hitler memorial space cadet" music, owing to its obviously electronic roots. Hyper-opinionated people suck. But you, I like. Maybe check out BANKS - this is what it feels like, or Purity Ring - obedear.. or literally anything by M0
