Exactly. Today they try to put their insane identity politics on our generation, but luckily we didn't have any of that garbage. When I was growing up 70's & 80's males & females loved each other. There for we loved every woman or man that could rock. The gender/sex/race was completely irrelevant. I wish the people of today would learn how be color blind, race blind, color blind again.

Hell, yeah! They're a girl band! They wrote this song about the asshole male producers and managers and to show them that a girl could kick ass on a guitar...hence the reference to a "Barracuda".

Sister, Anne and Nancy Heart, based out of Seattle, performed in Vancouver Canada a lot. They did a fantastic out of this world performace tribute to !ed Zeplin for their song stairway to heaven at the Kennedy centre. Also at a music award show Fergie of Black eye peas performs with Heart on this song Baracuda. Fantastic!! Ann wrote this song after a bad experience with a movie exec at a party.

You have just listened to the most icoinic girls rock group ever. Heart started it all for women in Rock when Rock was in a predominantly male field. Saw them 2 years ago, and they are still as great as they were in 77. Her voice hasn’t changed 1 iota. I’m a Rock snob. I’ve always been a little sexist about women in Rock. I felt Rock was for men, but then came Heart. Boy did they change my mind. They are truly mind blowing in concert!!

I saw them in 2015 at Molson amphitheater in Toronto. Nancy is big now but her voice is just as pristine as ever!!! And Anne still kills it on guitar. Best night ever!!!

Heart is my favorite band of all time, bar none, period. No one tops Ann Wilson in my book. Love Barracuda, but my favorite Heart song of all, and my favorite song of all songs, is Magic Man. Still, I'm glad you listened to Heart, no matter which song you chose.

Ann the lead singer is 69 and her sister is 65 and they can still rock. They finished a your in the summer and now Ann is going on another solo tour. I Love the sisters. Ann wrote this song because a sleaze wanted to know how her Lover , her sister was. Ann wrote this in about 20 minutes.

The Wilson Sisters started Heart back in the early '70s AND ARE STILL ROCKIN' ON. One of the longest preforming group in the world. They are one of the OG Seattle Rock bands & have wildly successful.

My Fav Band of all time. Ann Wilson has the best voice in Rock. Nobody can duplicate her. Every time they try they sound horrible. Also, this guitar riff and the one for Crazy on you are probably some of the most recognized in Rock.

I saw them in a bar in Montana in 1977 before they got famous. Ann and Nancy Wilson are Rock Goddess’s! And they’re still rocking! ❤️

My husband and I got to see Heart live a couple of years ago, and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts opened, along with Elle King. It was an AMAZING concert!
