I don't get what everyone's problem is. Kutcher is pretty decent and Alan has become a riot. This is way better than the pathetic season 8. And I'm a big fan of Charlie, it's just that the show hasn't gotten worse in my opinion.
@TheGoldenConnorific5 жыл бұрын

i like walden, in my opinion he is potentially better than charlie but that is just because i prefer wholesome to cringe comedy. my problem is that Alan transforms from a leech and everyone makes a point of shaming him for it, to a leech that walden pets like it isn't sucking his life force. yes he does have his moments like this but he is just so.... rick and morty's jerry . that sums up my view of him perfectly. there is also the problem that jake is gone for a good portion and has grown up. this just outright makes the title of the whole thing just wrong. there is no half any more; either there is 3 or there is 2. i get that this can't be helped but it does get on my nerves because i loved jake as he was: young stupid and adorably screwing with his uncle.

The problem is when series loses a big star or character it tends to have a heavy drop in ratings either immediately or over time because of the change in dynamic or the direction it goes. Let me give a few examples csi, scrubs, that 70s show, the office, top gear. A rare exception to this case is house md but this type of reaction is typical.
@jisookim69045 жыл бұрын
A regular wedding band is between 1~2 cm^3 in volume and most Rhodium/Platinum alloys are mainly Platinum because it's cheaper and the higher the Rhodium percentage is, the more difficult it is to craft. So let's assume Waldon went totally overboard and got a big ring (2cm^3) with a 30/70 Rhodium/Platinum alloy. Going by today's prices, the pure material is 'only' worth around 35.000 dollars. Considering that the owner of the pawn shop probably doesn't trust that Alan didn't steal the ring, he probably wouldn't even offer him the material's worth.

not only is charlie gone, but to add insult to injury they brought in ashton kutcher to "replace" him. i honestly hope the show, or what's left of it, does us all a huge favor and goes to the trash can now (it will happen eventually, anyway).
@catfacepoetry32114 жыл бұрын
Charlier Harper couldn't get married because he vomits on a baby, though his fiancee, Chelsea knows he is numbing his pain of separation on alcohol. Because Charlie refuses to kick out his brother down-on-luck, against Mia's demand just before wedding proceeds in Vegas. Walden Schmidt couldn't make it work with Bridget because she changed and he hasn't as she didn't let him when she was changing over the years. Because Zoey is jealous of Walden And Allan Enterprise, jealous of the man who saves his boyfriend life. Because Walden, the perfect man has no equal within the realm of common sense, so he resorts to false marriage with his best friend to be a father. That is the serious side of Two and a Half Men. Under all the ungodly filth claimed by Angus T Jones, a young fanatic, the show makes a good point over the years. Good deed and woman selfishness don't mix. Do Judith and Evelyn Harper have not root in reality? They have plenty, I was not raised in a western culture, and I have found plenty between those two and human nature, even in the foreign culture I was raised in. The sensitivity that female is known to have across human cultures, it's just the part of human nature that enjoys drama. It has little to do with compassion nor love. The need to bound with others, that is a basic need. The show dramatises it flawlessly, if not perfectly.

Absolutely true. This show has been a lesson for sure.

You could also make the point that the reason Charlie sleeps around is because his mom was always cold, distant and didn't show affection, which is why he has to find it in other women.
@catfacepoetry32113 жыл бұрын
@@stevendchu There is an episode which Charlie told her mother that he's learned about relationship from her divorces and belittling and life-shortening of partners. In that conversation, her mother said she is proud of Charlie. That is one episode that everyone may have missed. I could have pointed out, but I don't want to find out that episode and quote it like it's some kind of hip-bible reference.

"there is nothing else to complain about"? "I am willing to bet"? Come on, get real. Yeah, some people still watch the show, but they are fewer and fewer; the audience numbers were slowly shrinking at the end of the season. It isn't that hard to notice that the series lost its typical charisma and now overcompensates with ever dirtier humor. Sure, some people would like it anyway and it's your choice as to what to enjoy as funny.
