I launched my kayak in the park across from coffee connection used a whopper plopper and nailed 15 smallmouth by the time I was behind the fire station . Had a blast lots of fish to be caught and a few were decent size . Cool video

@@FishingGrubbZ the river is loaded dude late summer you could actually walk it in waders all the way to the fire station before it gets deep again . Water was crystal clear too shocked me .

If you like fishing light tackle you should go to Walmart get their $20 starter kit fly fishing set and try fly fishing for panfish.... I won't fish for panfish on anything but a fly rod from now on

Love your videos!! Been living less than a hundred yards from the banks of the Blackstone Cumberland Lincoln area all my life... As far as snappers go.. that is medium to small size.. probably somewhere between 20 and 25 years old.. I have old Polaroids taken in the 70s with snapping turtles from the Blackstone River. It took two of us to pick up!! Multiple huge snappers.. estimated between 75 and 100 years old!! Enjoy it while you can!
