This is an edited version of our regular Sunday morning ride along Melbourne's 'famous' Beach Road. This workout includes renowned Mount Eliza Hills including Oliver's Hill and then Tower Road. It's tricky for the camera angle to show gradient, so hopefully a graphic of the profile will indicate how hard it is - increase the resistance on your trainer on the hills! A small group, so LOTS of efforts! Three sets: 1.- 22 intervals, 2.- 3 hills, 3. - 28 long intervals to return.

just did this 1. Had to stop few times for longer recovery and to wipe of the sweats. Very hard but rewarding. The last few efforts were brutal. Also, that "still a long way to go" almost made me stop haha.

That was hard! 122mins for me all in, 191 watt average (am 70kg), 55.4km according to my Kettler bike. I managed to keep 210w average the 1st hour but it got quite hard. Great video… thank you… more please! 🙂

I got bored and did a very rough calculation, taking into consideration where they edited their video, it's approx. 43-45 miles. My super precise method was using Google maps measurement tool and tracing from the gas stationed they started at and finishing in the ally and then subtracting the large edit coming down the hill.

Depends on your level of cycling fitness. If you are a professional cyclist, you could do it every day!
