Apparently this's a "hot take" but I love the way Halle Bailey's Ariel was reimagined. Her hair was more of a lifelike ginger instead of a firetruck red, which helped her both blend into her environment and not stick out like a sore thumb. And, they did away with the mildly sexual seashell cup bra! They made the female mermaids have scales where their breasts are, and in different patterns. Even the addition of fins, jellyfish like layers and species presentation was good. It was an amazing live action adaptation that both stayed true to the original, but also helped make her live action form appear better and al natural 😍

I was never a fan of the old Disney Little Mermaid because of her design (underage, but they have her wear nothing but seashells and exaggerate her body) but I'm not a fan of the live action one either because they didn't change much, all they changed was her skin color. However, I love how you drew them as being friends, showing that they can both be beautiful
