This was actually one of the most realistic scenes depicting an interaction between brothers I've ever seen; it just takes seeing from an outside perspective like this to see the humor (when you're in a conversation like either of these with your brother, and they do genuinely happen, they're awkward as all hell).

@@afonsodeportugalAbsolutely! After observing him on this show and adopting more of his mindset, my sex life has improved dramatically, and I'm not even rich! You really don't need money and a beach house to get a woman, they just help. It's the charm and devil-may-care demeanor Charlie possesses that is absolutely essential.

@@anthonyvasquezactor Charlie Harper was the LAST truly manly character on television. You have to go back to the 80s and early 90s sitcoms to find characters as masculine as him. The mere fact the the first comment got so many likes says a lot of contemporary society. Everything Charlie ever said about dating was spot on, but most people see it as misogyny.

@@afonsodeportugalExactly. And that's why we'll never see an onscreen casanova like him again, certainly not the kind that men truly want to be. This sitcom in general was also one of the last for men that taught them about reality. Especially the realities of the modern world, including marriage.
