We didn't mention the price in the video because it can fluctuate over time, and even different Costco stores might carry them for different prices, but we paid $439.99 for our unit. Thanks for watching! :)

@@TwoGuyzTech Sure, but all you have to do is honestly express what the price you paid at the time of the video production and people will understand that prices fluctuate over time. You shouldn't be so concerned about the validity of your review, as you must know by now in life, people want to know how much the unit costs in real time so they can decide whether or not to invest in newer technology. It's sort of ridiculous that I had to search the web for the price when you guys knew what you paid about a week ago but purposely withheld the information from your viewers.

@@MichaelSmith-xs4wp Yeah, we get it - and we've actually mentioned the price of products in most of our other videos, but one thing that we don't expect you to understand not having a KZfaq channel is how much blowback you'll get when prices do change. We try to provide as much relevant information in our videos as possible, we don't think it's too much to ask to have someone do a little bit of their own research - ESPECIALLY when it comes to the price of an item they're considering buying. We're not here to hold your hand, buddy.

@@TwoGuyzTech Aah, so your firm is afraid of criticism but not afraid of being sarcastic to others wondering why you don't mention the price of a unit you're reviewing. That makes sense. Since you used 'budget 4K' as a key descriptor, most people want to know if they can afford the product in their 'budget'. But go ahead and play the condescending asshole role to those curious about the price; which there are many.

@@MichaelSmith-xs4wp kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b5yYYM-H3szGeHk.html If this is your video, you failed to put the price of your product in it... and if it's not your video, did you attack their 'firm' for the same reason? There's no firm or group behind these videos - we make them for free (or usually at our own loss) to help people who are looking to put together their own Home Theater system or anything like that... and you have the audacity to complain that not every single fact about the product was spoon fed to you as if you don't have the mental capacity to research these tiny details yourself? You spent more time with these shitty comments than it literally could have took you to look up the price - so because you have such a hard time googling things, here's a little tutorial which may help you in the future; letmegooglethat.com/?q=Denon+AVR-S760H+price but I doubt it, as it's obvious you were only looking to troll us. So I've got a Samsung Q70A. For months I used PC to TV, TV to old receiver. It did 4K 120hz with no issue. Now that I bought a 4K 120hz receiver I've run the connections all to receiver and put the one HDMI 2.1 connection to the TV. I've enabled 8K enhanced and Denon says my TV doesn't support 4K 120hz or 8K 60hz. PC only gets a 4K 60hz signal now. I'm lost. Game mode is on with the TV, that allows it to do 4k 120, so if there's something I'm missing that you got right or you've got suggestions please let me know. Thanks

@@garretttaylor7896 HDMI inputs might need to be configured to enhanced mode. Denon does typically 3 inputs 8k/4k-120, and the other 3 as 4k/120. I had no issues with mine. 3 do 4k/120Hz/VRR just fine. Are you using freesync or something? Sometimes switching that off and back on might reset the signal. @@DINightslayer I don't know what to think. There are lots of people saying that Yamaha is going to replace the HDMI boards with 28gbps boards. That means the video will be clipped to 4:0:0 chroma I think. They need to have at least 40gbps bandwidth. And they need to say what they are going to do quick because they are being returned to Costco like crazy. Also, the TSR-700 has ridiculous lip sync issues to this day on eARC. The delay is super frustrating and needs to be fixed. It wasn't mentioned in this review, but the S760H doesn't have these delay issues.

Thanks for testing the 4k120! Too bad the signal is compressed to 4:2:2 but I think that's the limit of the PS5 (32Gbps). I think with Xbox SX we should be able to get a full 4k120 with 4:4:4 (40Gbps). Believe these bandwidth limits are correct.

Thanks for watching! We think both the S760H and the new Onkyo TX-NR6050 (which we're currently in the process of reviewing) would be good picks depending on availability at your Costco warehouse. The Onkyo is a little bit more money (coming in at $99) but it has a higher power rating and more features. We've tested it with our PS5 @ 4K 120Hz HDR10 4:2:2 32 gigabit which is the max that the PS5 can do, but Onkyo says on their website that it can pass through full 40 gigabit signals (for devices like Xbox Series X). We'll give our impressions on it and how we feel it compares to the Denon once our review comes out! Should be sometime this week.

@@TwoGuyzTech I use a PC as well and currently play content at 4k 4:4:4(RGB) 10bit 120hz in HDR. According to what people say, you need 40.1 gbps for that. Love everything about this receiver so far, but for anyone with HTPC setup, you should know that 4k120hz + VRR is currently broken. I have exhausted every possibility over the past six days and it does not work with Radeon settings on AMD RX 6800 XT. When you disable 8k enhanced on Denon settings, the option returns in Radeon settings to enable freesync, however refresh on 4k is backed back down to 60hz cap. Hope there is a fix soon, because otherwise, this is it chief.

With that said, this receiver would run the 5.1.4 pack you mentioned just fine.

I hope someone sees this and can give me some guidance on this. I just recently started diving into the world of sound systems. I just bot the s760h and I know that the advertised watt/channel is off always but I had a question regarding this. Could you add a 2-channel amplifier for the front two speakers to this system to allow more Watts/channel to the other speakers? I thought of doing this but I don't know if this receiver can do that, just thought this would make the ability of the receiver to push more sound to the speakers in major Dolby atmos situations not start to bog down the sound quality.

This absolutely depends on what kind of speakers they are, what size room you want to fill, your desired listening level, etc. This receiver should be fine with most speakers out there as long as they're fairly efficient - the receiver will direct power to whatever channel needs it at any given time so the rated output should be more than enough. Not sure this will help but on both this NEW unit & our now returned 750 predecessor-We used the 7 speakers we have in BOTH of the 7 speaker option layouts. I too expected big problems with it being under powered but it is FINE for us at least. We have 2 Large Tower Klipsch speakers (set to Small in settings speaker-manually) with Klipsch Center-For the Rear (or should I say almost BESIDE us but a bit behind at an angle) we have old BIC Bookshelf units that face out with speakers going out in THREE directions. Now for the 2 speakers in the VERY REAR of the living room area we have old Large Polk Towers. The space is as follows---- The Front Towers are 12 feet in front of us The Rear Surround odd old Bics are about 3 feet away to our left & right rear The Large rear most Polk Towers are 8 feet behind us. Now I use this system ASLL DAY for Gaming & I game 6-12 hours EVERY day as I am 72 yrs young-retired & crippled up old USMC Combat Veteran all shot up to Hell & back so literally use this ALL day to game (distracts me from severe & chronic PAIN!). Then we use it from 6PM till midnight streaming HBO -Disney and other RGE now aging OUTLAW Subwoofer that is the size of a damned coffee table as well:-) *Now I Game LOUDLY and we watch my movies quite loud as well since I LIKE them loud plus half deaf from fucking War. The USMC was NOT kind to my ass so using low volume is just not gonna cut it. I bought this just to prove to my wife as -POOR health etc) well as myself that it would simply be too much of a wimp for my LAST AVR (again=Poor health etc) But it surprised me. A LOT! I was set to this time spend up to $2500 for a 9.2 with ability to add another Amp or 2 to expand. But turned out this is MORE than fine for us both (sadly...) And in the end I guess when I om experience!!!)factor in just how fast these can and DO fail (especially the HDMI crap issues) and become obsolete etc. ) I just kept thinking about ALL the BEER I could buy (And GAMES!) for my new PS5 and Xbox Series X etc....The space this system operates in is pretty large with sloping Cathedral Ceilings (sadly with Popcorn as well-GRRR!). From the TV to the rear speakers is about28-30 feet long by 40 feet wide (open layout SORTA) . With the large speakers plus the stout Sub this has had NOT ONE SINGLE issue with driving all we run and at a sound level I feel most would be MORE than happy with. The sound is CRISP-CLEAN with just the right amount of punch & detail I need to JUST make it good enough for ME. Sorry for the long post but hope it helps someone? For the PRICE? NO way I see anything as good or even close. I TRIED the all new Yamaha Costco sold-TWICE! Both units had SO many problems I bailed & returned them both. I am also a lifetime Yamaha lover and fanboy (OK Fan CODGER). I preferred their sound as well as reliability. Only had ONE ever fail me in 20 years and UNLIKE any other Brand, Yamaha gave me NO grief FIXING it! Onkyo (that I was planning to buy at Crutchfield) has NO usable Warranty & NO USABLE Service! Be advised and do an online search on Onkyo Warranty NIGHTMARES before you buy... ****Lastly I am so sorry for Typos or gibberish as I am trying my best to upload & type this from my iPhone at my Surgeons office:-( This friggin thing often types only God knows what but I'm trying to hurry before being called...

You're not supposed to stream stuff like Netflix or KZfaq from a mobile device over Bluetooth to an AVR because you won't be able to take advantage of any of the other features of the AVR and you'll get the delay issues as you mentioned. This is fine for music but we recommend a streaming device that connects over HDMI for anything else. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching :)

@twoGuyzTech thank you so much, this is my first AVR so actually I don't know how it works🙈. But now I know that I have a great receiver. Thanks again.

Hey man, how does it sound? I've got some decently big speakers and would be interested in knowing if it has enough power to push em, thanks!
