I kinda find the second clip funny because the guy who told the girl to play faster is Nanse Gum, a really esteemed conductor in Korea -- chairman of the Korean Orchestra Association and Seoul Arts High School, first Korean prizewinner of the Karajan International Conducting Competition, and first Korean to conduct the Berlin Phil. He definitely acted to the script -- a musician of his calibre would definitely agree with you guys.

If y'all don't know, the last idol is from a group called B2TSM from LingLing Entertainment His name is Bach/Beethoven/Tchaikovsky He debuted many years ago along with Mozart/Shostakovich with their debut "Duh Duh Duh Dum" The roles are as follows: - Bach=oldest+leader - Mozart=maknae - Beethoven=visual+popular - Tchaikovsky=spokesperson - Shostakovich=depressed An official fandom name, lightstick and fanchant is yet to be released P.S. you guys should check out the k-pop band lucy! one of the members (yechan) is a classically trained violinist, and in all of their songs, he plays violin as part of the band! you might find it cool :D

Hi if you're going to do this again, there's a classically trained violinist in K-band: lucy, and K-band hoppipolla has a cellist. I personally think they are very good especially the violinist. Also I love how respectful you tried to be about Joo Chan from Golden Child.

I am confused about Joochan who can't read music core/sheets (i'm not sure) and played in an orchestra in pre-debut. Got me wondering after watching his clips playing violin but I guess it's because he's that talented 😆

If you do a part 2 I highly recommend Yechan from Lucy and Zhang Hao from ZB1. Zhang Hao hasn't even debuted yet but I was impressed based on the clip from the survival show he won

Kinda random, but as a flautist and pianist who started very young, I wish that we had the equivalent of stickers. It must be so gratifying to be able to remove and use less and less stickers until you don’t need any anymore and be able to more visibly see your progress.

In fact, there are plugs that can be removed piece by piece on a flute with ring keys Edit: well that does not affect learning the fingerings, though it makes it easier to learn playing with ring keys

My piano teacher used to label notes with pieces of cord or stickers, for kids or students that came completely from zero musical knowledge. For example if hey were having difficulty locating a note consistently. It was cute 🥰 She was also good at annotating the music sheet as you were learning a piece, so the voices and phrases were more obvious to you as a student.

My stickers never stick on the fingerboard so I removed the first one entirely and only keep the third and fourth one as a guiding point after 6 months now. Works pretty well, even if I keep checking with a tuner during warm up, thanks for reminding me to see this as progress 😊

Hello, fellow flautist! My band teacher would put stickers on the flute keys for very, very beginners who had trouble remembering what keys to use for a note. In my current class, I just have a fingering chart for the sharps and notes I haven’t memorized. (Working on a song with several notes I haven’t played before)

Ahhh, I was hoping for an inclusion of Joochan from Golden Child! They blended their popular song, Wannabe, with Paganini Caprice no.24! Joochan played the violin, and was able to be well versed in this piece, looking online and asking fans for help!

@TheUrbanSheep Hey sir, please mind your words. Let me explain something in case that you are not aware of this issue. I'll kindly inform you in the name of someone who holds the bachelor degree in music: the ability to read music is not the end of the world, and yes, we all have long been discussed this topic in the real music college/conservatory everywhere. If you can't read the music but still can play it, that's the point. Learning to play Paganini piece without music notation literacy is the big important thing I'll call it a TALENT! (If you don't know this yet, just go KZfaq search with the keyword "wannabe road to kingdom") Honestly said, we should even learn from the case study of Joochan that how he can play such a difficult piece only by learning from his ears.There are millions of ways of learning music, and learning to play by reading is only one way. We all just got mistaken by the myth that music reading skill is called talent, but I will say no. It's the thing that all people who practice to read it can learn. No matter what how you learn to play it but you can play the piece, especially the difficult one, in the end, it is ALL THAT MATTERS. Honestly, we SHOULD learn from the case study of Joochan how he can play that such a difficult piece only by learning from his ears. And there are so many literacy musicians out there that can read music fluently but still fuck at aural or ear/listening skill. I've been said for long, but in short: PLEASE BE POLITE, APPRECIATE AND PRAISE HONG JOOCHAN musicianship skill!!! Also, once again, be careful of your words because his fans are everywhere, and I am the representative of Goldenness to tell you that now some amount of us on Twitter have seen your comment and are not agree and happy with this. Please give respect to him. The clip that twoset bring here may not the best version of Joochan playing violin, but as I've said earlier: check out the Golden Child's Road to Kingdom stage and you may change your mind or would like to take your words back.

This was really interesting! I wish you'd try to check Zhang Hao. He took up violin when he was older to take the music college exam. He obtained the violin teaching certificate and is now an idol after winning a survival show. I have read people saying he plays nicely but lacks some foundation (which is understandable since he started fairly late!) but would love to hear you guys elaborate more on the whats and whys :) You guys commented on these clips in such a constructive and easily understandable way!

Benji from B.I.G actually went to Juilliard School but he dropped out to pursue his dreams to become an idol. His group is part of the 3rd generation in KPOP and I was really happy to see him in this video as his group disbanded and not a lot of people know them.

I'm glad you did right for Hyerin (the girl that shows up second), like how can the 'judges' act that playing faster is better urghhh Also I get into B.I.G after Benji left, I didn't know he plays the violin so well! Yang Yang as well (I know him but didn't know much) And I'm happy you finally reacted to Joochan, if I didn't remember wrong, I was waiting for you to reacted to him after RTK but didn't seem to include him. But you chose a clip where he failed lmao he is actually quite good especially their schedules are even tighter. He played Paganini before and it was under more practice and was much better

Guys please do a figure skating related video! It's the reason why I got into classical music. I'd love to see a "Two Set guess which classic piece the ice skaters are skating to" type video, where you see a skating program w/o music & try to guess which piece they are skating to (you can have options to pick from to narrow down the answers)....I even have skating programs listed below if you're interested! 1. 7:16 The way I screamed when I saw Joochan here. He actually can't read music score and is just playing by ears. He's partly the reason why I got into twoset because he played the violin during their road to kingdom performance in which they sampled Paganini 24 and friends from stantwt keep mentioning you guys so I decided to checked your channel and the rest is history. Can you guys react to Zhang Hao from ZEROBASEONE? He ranked first place in the CSAT for music in China and he plays the violin really well. He has a perfect pitch and was even called a music genius by grammys. He even played the violin on weddings as part-time jobs back then.

Hello, I’m not very good at English but I’m trying to write you a letter. Is it possible if you could make a reacting to kpop idols violin skills but includes ZhangHao from ZB1 this time? ZhangHao is the very first trainee to ever win first place as a foreigner on a Korean idol elimination show. He is a violin major and he also knows how to play the piano, the viola and even the cello. It would be great if you could do a reaction includes him because ever since he won first place he is getting attacked by a lot of korean netizens just because he’s a foreigner and they are claiming that he’s actually mediocre at playing violin and that he’s overrated. I owe these two a thank you. Watching their videos inspired me to continue taking vocal lessons and dedicate time to serious, deliberate, practice. I got the lead part in a local musical production, and I don’t think I even would have auditioned without watching these two.
