I have one that is very disruptive (not even generally, just very). He is the epitone of 4,5,8,9,10,11,12,17,20,21. He has achieved the impossible. I have just realized how patient I am to him.

I remember the year when my stand partner was the #7 one who doesn't care, because from time to time, I'd forget to bring my pencil. He was no help because he simply didn't care. That guy was a decent violinist though and a really nice guy, I just wish he had cared more about orchestra.

jessicatlikescookies Damn, I can relate. I didn’t take orchestra in my school for two years and I just went back cause I missed it and they were in desperate need of a cello player. I am playing EXTREME catch up, easy 4/4 pieces all within the D scale were tripping me up. Just, horrible. I’ve gotten way better though and am on about the same level as the others again, just takes some getting used to.

I can relate so much. I transferred from a school that didn't have an orchestra class and I've only been learning for a little more than year and a half, plus I'm LITERALLY the only one that plays the piano, and sometimes they don't even have the notes for the piano so I have to ask them for the bass notes
