It's weird how this game isn't very high on the ladder of recognizable mascot characters yet it feels like everyone remembers it, including me who has never played it. It's like, Tier 1: Super Mario, Sonic, Spyro, Crash Tier 2: Sly Cooper, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter Tier 3: Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, Crok, Glover, Tak, Billy Hatcher Tier 4: Alfred Chicken, Bubsy, Aero the Acrobat

THIS GAME IS MY ENTIRE CHILDHOOD ( along with crash, spyro, ratchet and clank, jack and Daxter and probably more). Completely forgot about the plot of this game but the only thing I remember is 6 year old me terrified of the first level that introduced Ty diving into shark infested waters and having my older brothers play through that part for me.

D. Hubbard Mmhmm, thanks to the funds of the 2D and kickstarter, they are going to be remastering all of them. At least aim for it, depending on the funding capability. Really excited to play with that mech again.

honestly this game is not bad at all, but all subsequent ones were progressively worse. Like as soon as Ross started playing he liked it. Despite it's only gimmick being Australian it's a fun game to play.

The original devs have been remastering the game for the past year or so, and are planning to remaster the second and third games as well. Their great work ethic and constant updates is one of the main reasons why the "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating is there, other than the quality of the remaster itself.

I thought it was amazing up until the end. It took me HOURS to do the dumb thing at the end and then the cut scene after lasted all of 2 seconds. The ending alone ruined it for me and I was pretty bummed out about it.

Childhood Game, i played this and the Sequal so much and when i Found out about Ty3 i looked in every Store with games to find it. And then i found out that it was only Released as NTSC and PAL version was only in Australia, wanted that game so bad. The Ty Games are not Bad, but not Great. I still love these games and a couple of Months ago i finaly got the PAL version of Ty3 on Ebay from Australia, been wanting this game for like 10 years. Not Fantastic Games, still Love Ty The Tasmanian Tiger and to me it was Worth getting Ty3

but marsupials /are/ mammals, ross~ marsupials are the evolutionary halfway point between monotremes (echidnas, platypus) and placentals (dogs, cats, solenodons, humans, etc) which all make up mammalia.
