Georgetown Penang, the food paradise of Malaysia that epitomises the slogan: "Malaysia Truly Asia", wherein you can walk one block north, one block south, one block east and one block west from the center of town, and find at each corner uniquely Malay, Chinese, Indian and Nonya (of Peranakan fame) cuisines. The latter is fusion between Malay and Chinese or Malay and Indian cultures incorporating Thai influence.

If you guys still in penang, don’t forget to try the famous Chinese traditional biscuits. Would recommend going to my favourite shop called Ban Heang. A must try are the “Heong Peng” and “Tambun Biscuits”. You may find a few durian flavoured goodies too.

21:16 explore the other side of Penang island: Balik pulau. Cycling through green paddy fields, check out Pasir Panjang beach, mangrove coastline at malindo beach, fruit and durian orchards, goat & animal farms, horse stables. Explore street arts and food scene at balik pulau town. Other places in Penang, do check out the dams in air itam and teluk Bahang. Hiking to Esen beach and esen hill in Batu maung. War museum in Batu maung. Go early to penang hill, best time around 7-8am to avoid crowd and long wait at the lower station. Several paths available for nature walk, go to kopi hutan to enjoy coffee in the rain forest or go to the habitat (check online in advance if it's open). Explore old colonial bungalows in Penang hill that were abandoned. There's ATV tour ride in balik pulau and esen beach if you're looking for something adventurous.

Come to Sabah guys..From Mountain high to ocean deep.. we have it all.. even the most beautiful island in Malaysia, one of the Top 5 diving spot in the world is in Sabah as well.. Sipadan..check it out..

Thaipusam is celebrated annually during the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai in January or February and takes place on February 5 this year. It's a time to ask Lord Murugan, the son of Lord Shiva, for good health, prosperity, and forgiveness in the new year. Make your way to the Batu Caves on that day. Or find out at the nearest Hindu temple for celebration proceedings... like processions...

Your resort looked very cool especially the infinity pool. And your chicken barbeque looked delicious. But standing in long queues was a test of human patience which was a little annoying.

Pls bring your own tumblers at least to buy drinks. Since u are traveling u cannot carry tiffin carriers. It's not that difficult. Consumers hv to change . The hawkers are just needing to earn a living to survive. We, must, make that effort to reduce this monstrous use of plastic bags just to "contain" our food. As a Penang resident, l always carry my own containers. Actually, l stayed in the apartment opposite Lost Paradise. Pls enjoy Malaysia but try not to use so much single use plastics. Thank you.
