We go to Coronation park, visit the botanical garden: Agro Technology Park MARDI Cameron Highlands which is filled with Flower-filled gardens, strawberry patches, greenhouses, plus small rabbit & butterfly farms. We then eat our way through the town at some affordable eateries including trying delicious cake and tea (and local strawberries)!

if your come to Malaysia, u should go to Sabah, we have wonder of nature, food, also have the highest mountain in Malaysia. come visit Kota Kinabalu & kundasang Sabah for the perfect journey in Malaysia

@@tyandsoph 1 piece of cake in that cafe is like what is sold in 4- 5 star hotels here. Kinda pricey for me. I work in a 5 star local hotel. I guess it maybe normal in a touristy town like CH. But the strawberry at rm 6 was awesome.

Hiking in the Mossy Forest is one of the wonderful attractions in Cameron Highlands but its monsoon season now 🌧 quite risky...

Make sure you try the scones with Boh Tea before you leave. It is the best in Malaysia and many said better than in UK! There is one cafe on the 2nd floor in town Lord's Cafe that is highly rated.

14:38 I doubt that. I am a Malaysian who used to work on a strawberry farm in Herefordshire, UK during the summer holidays. I know for sure the strawberries there are bigger and I think they are juicier than the ones from Cameron Highland. But each to his/her own.

Tanah Rata means more or less Flat Land in English. Tanah is Land, Rata is flat or beautifully surfaced

Cameroon is nice and chill place. But local authorities shall banned old trucks as it emit lots of black smoke. The river is dirty from constructions residue. All of these with aggressive deforestation leading to higher temperature.

@@tyandsoph regardless where you are now, I wanted to mention that after the monsoon season in february, both of you should try visit islands in perhentian, east coast of peninsula. Perhentian kecil is more for backpackers. Redang island although beautiful is more for family who prefers resort like environment(like perhentian besar) There is also tioman island. I know you guys are traveling on a budget so I will not focus on expensive places. Rawa is a private island. Similar to pangkor laut. So exclusive. Pangkor island is a cool island on the west coast. Duty free like langkawi. Lang tengah is also a place for padi course similar to redang and perhentian and tioman. Locals visit kapas island as it is the nearest to mainland.

Soph might want to avoid carrying your handbag on your right while walking on the road with the traffic coming from the back of you. Malaysia is famous for snatch thieves by the mat rempits(Motorcyclist). Recently still a lot going on the news. Just some people unlucky at the wrong place, wrong time.. take care.. nice vid
