This is a very successful Nymph especially in Spring , best way to use this as a dropper, so it can stay in the surface film,🐟

I like what you did with the hackle for the legs instead of teasing out the dubbing! Looks more realistic I think that way

also use Swiss straw, scud back, pheasant tail, or crow for wing casing.I also used pheasant tail tips forward behind the eye , snip off buts divide tips equally on either side of hook wrap thread to lock in place and fold over casing to lock in place.

How do you prevent your thread from breaking while your are wrapping it around the shank I always try different ways on how much pulling I do on the thread

PA. I have found that the bobbin you use makes ALL the difference in the world. I use a Rite bobbin now and rarely break thread. Even in high tension.

Understood nothing. front sight is wet, and foam is used. Material for dry flies. How to understand this?

This is a Stillwater Sub-Surface Nymph, which I use for Lakes, Mainly fish with intermediate line, when Nymphs are Hatching this works well , If you fish deep then you can add weight, Regards,, Mak
