YES! For me, that was the standout takeaway from this entire podcast. Just totally validated everything I feel going about my day to day reality. He says something about the lack of empathy in the living is what terrifies him the most. As an empath, I couldn't agree more. I am constantly gobsmacked by man's inhumanity to man. Not just the big stuff like wars, but the little things, like making fun of someone or flipping the bird on the highway. Or a parent yelling at their young kid, thinking that is the proper way to raise a child to be a good person. Or saying "shut up" to someone. I had to get divorced and really get hardcore about curating my surroundings and the people that I let into my world, because I am way too sensitive and "in my feels" for the average human to deal with. What some people consider a natural and unavoidable part of a relationship, like shouting, eye-rolling, yelling at the kids, silent treatment, slamming a door when angry, cussing and getting pissed off while putting together a piece of furniture...all of that stuff would send me into fight-or-flight. So I pretty much putz around the house with my plants and my cats and do what I can for the people I love while respecting my limits and avoiding overstimulation.

I’ve been a therapist since 2002 - In 2011 One of my clients was going through a really hard time with a breakup and just really depressed - well 20min into the session I felt this overwhelming presence of LOVE beaming through every cell of my being and then there was an instant download into my mind.. (telepathic communication) I am a family member that has passed away, and I am here to love and support him - so I asked him, do you have any family relatives that have passed away... There was silence for a minute and then he said yeah my dad- In that moment I was shown that we never stop existing and that we are truly magnificent beings !

I so thoroughly enjoyed watching this podcast on KZfaq because I have been a long time fan of Tyler and I am enjoying watching the ease and comfort he has gained in interviewing and watching him grow up into a young gentleman and owning his own stage pride in his skill, just beautiful he’s such a remarkable young man who came from really great people. His mom is like an angel and I think that, he has healing to offer so many and that’s such a lovely thing today

@@alalouis1As Tyler discussed, there are plenty of self-proclaimed “psychics” who are just good at reading people’s expressions and make general statements I would go so far as to say most are not “genuine.” However, there are those who are sensitive to energy around them and can tap into that. In other words, there are some who are the real thing. It isn’t anything scary, or “demonic” nor does it have anything whatsoever to do with religion. My mother was one of them; she called it “God” but never exploited others, never made a penny from it nor ever drew attention to herself. She also had dreams that came true. If she had a dream about someone that contained a message, she would tell the person privately and in an off-handed, casual way so as not to alarm them. Her gift was uncanny.

I died. I believe things Tyler does are real. Tell your friend his bible is just a book. On the other side no one gives a shut about religion. They care that you're a good compassionate person, to all living beings. That includes animals. Don't eat them and you'll have a truly decent afterlife. Not one religion is better than another. They don't give a shit. They care about compassion. Whatever you do while you're alive ask yourself: is this compassionate? You know the answer. If it is or if it's not.

So glad to know there is a name for the strange noises that wake me up, last night someone (I live alone) said TOM really loud. When it first started with the knocking on the window from outside or the doorbell ringing it was a little unsettling but now I know the ringing of a land line that I don't have, or notification of a text that doesn't come are just part of this thing. While it does wake me up I no longer get a racing heart and just go back to sleep. I am 83 and this has been going on for about a year almost every night!

Fear of death comes from not learning that death is part of life. It was always something spoken openly in our household as a child. It isn't something to fear, it's just a part of life.

I'm a skeptic, but I've had two incidents of precognition if you will, I knew, or had predicted the fatal crash of the Challenger space shuttle. I can't discern if I was just going with the odds, or the fact a teacher was on board, what a terrible result that would be. I just felt very uneasy about that flight. Also, an urge came to me while passing a liquor store to buy a loto ticket. The urge was very strong I actually had to make a U-turn, and buy 1 ticket. It was a $100 ticket. Nothing spectacular, but it was a winner. The reason I say this is due to hearing about a janitor dying during an explosion, and it brought back a memory a a janitor that also died in an explosion at my aunt's school where she taught. The reason he died is what propelled me to write this as a warning to someone out there to not mix household chemicals. The janitor was cleaning a toilet, and mixed some chemicals that exploded in his face. Just another feeling I felt there was someone who need to hear this. I'm still a skeptic, but you never know, and if taking a few minutes to write this might save someone, it was worth it. In any case, for everyone, DON'T MIX HOUSEHOLD CHEMICALS! 😁👍😎✌🗽

You're not a skeptic then, you want to believe something, you don't understand your confirmation biases and/or the true desires and nature of your psyche. These things don't exist, even though I wish they did, wouldn't it make our mundane boring existence so much more fun? Wouldn't it mean we're special? Wouldn't it mean life is a bit more fantastical and exciting? Unfortunately, it's just not the case.

@@NEprimothat’s your experience. For many of us this aspect of reality presents itself whether we ask for it or not. I’m a believer because of the many experiences I’ve had that could not be explained with a normal explanation. Hence it was most certainly “paranormal”. I still doubt even though I’ve had many varied experiences throughout my life but I know things happen to millions of people everyday that cannot be explained in a “normal” way.

Howie 😅 .. the jokes 🤣 I have tried for years to see Tyler. He had the list... it was so busy, the Mom said "we will get to them all" .. I thought I would pay hundreds and hundreds .. but then he stopped the list and now doing app.. Expenses change after so many yrs so I can't do app.. or buy tickets. He is just so good. I generally don't believe most people and would never hear what they have to say but something about Tyler Henry is different. What a true gift to have. ❤

I understand your enthusiasm for wanting to get a reading from Tyler. Please consider that there are thousands of mediums capable of seeing who's there for you. Every medium works in a slightly different way, and they're of varying degrees of skill and depth. BUT as Tyler says, judge them by the verification that comes through in your life. You might check to see if there's a spiritualist church you can visit.

Howies daughter is a physical medium. We all have gifts or abilities, most of us have written them off because we're used to thinking that way so its "normal" to us. Those Meddling Mediums can explain it far better than I. Check out their lives, where they do readings and explain more about mediumship. I would love to see Tyler collab with them and them all go over the different types of mediumship.

@notthenoodle it's a medium that physically sees spirits or beings. It has to do with everyone's individual thought process. Some mediums see things only in their mind, and the physical mediums see them as real as you and me. And, there are some that have a mixture. It all depends on how your mind works. Honestly, if I hadn't seen/heard for myself these things I would think it's all fake.

7:45 My first real experience of a medium was totally transformative; I saw how he helped a woman a few seats from me. Before that, I was a little afraid, and a little sceptical. Not of the survival of the soul, but whether anyone could consistently and accurately transmit messages to those left behind and bring about healing in any way. It was very reassuring, but I still kept my discernment in place re. the different "mediums" and established my own "boggle limit" (meaning how practical? how accurate? how helpful?) were the messages conveyed by each medium? Tyler Henry is always caring, concerned and from what I've seen, very accurate. 🙂 He works very hard to polish his craft and remain authentic and true to himself.

"boggle limit" -- I am laughing out loud, because I totally understand exactly what you mean, and it's a wonderful phrase. I call it my "tolerance for bullshit." I don't think the sixth sense is bullshit. I just mean that I have an innate sense of when a purported clairvoyant is wading into bullshit territory. Boy did things change; especially within me personally. So despite my boggle limit hitting mach 9 by the amount of hysteria stirred up about an eclipse, I'm still keeping my options open about how much change will kick in because of all this. Invariably, comets and eclipses HAVE brought about bizarre human tidal events. Or plagues.

She said that she had a message from my grandfather who was telling me to leave that wall alone, and I must not knock the wall down. A week before I thought about knocking down a wall to make improvements to my bedroom. I hadn’t told anyone about my plans!

Looking bk I realize I’ve had 2 paranormal experiences but I was a huge skeptic so I didn’t recognize the 2nd one until recently. *The 1st one was undeniable, out of nowhere, my cat did all the stereotypical “Cat sees a ghost in my bdrm doorway” reactions.* But even that didn’t convince me of anything or anyone else I saw, still 100% skeptic. _Until I saw Tyler Henry’s video w/Larry King + then binged his show._ Tyler single-handedly convinced me this stuff is REAL + so is he. 💙

I sometimes see faces and people and places at night when I am laying in bed before going to sleep. I am not afraid. I do not hear anyone saying anything. Not sure what I would do if someone said anything to me. I have been told if I could I could tap into things. Tyler is awesome

When member of a Parapsychology group years ago, we did free home investigations,clearings . The group of 4-5 Psychics didn't know the address or why the home investigations were requested. The house with doors that opened, kitchen opening cabinet doors, drawers and smell of coffee. It was a 1200 ft single home, over 50 yrs old . They had a smiling face birthday balloon from the son's birthday that he loved. However,the balloon followed them through the house several times a day. So, we did our home walk through. The balloon was kept in the son's room. It came out when we were done , talking to the family,the smiling balloon popped out of the bedroom ( door had been closed ) . It came to us in the living room. Immediately we all laughed and said it is your ( husband) mother that died before she met her grandson! Grandmother had also warned the wife to go to kitchen ,there was a fire. I love to see haunting balloons. It's good Angels saying hello and sending love.

What I finally came to believe about meaningful coincidences (beside homicide detectives saying there are no coincidences), was when I realized that if I turned around and saw an unknown person behind me as often as I was having these coincidences, I’d have gone to the police saying I have a stocker! In 1993, when I was 8 months or so pregnant with my second child and brushing my teeth, bent into the sink to rinse, a mylar ballon bopped me twice. I thought my eldest daughter had toddled into the bathroom with it and was bopping me with it, but she was in her bedroom. It had floated out from my daughter's bedroom, moved across a hallway into the master bedroom, floated across the vaulted ceiling of the master bedroom, dropped down into the archway of the bathroom, and lowered itself further to bop me on the butt. I didn't feel frightened when I realized it wasn't my toddler, but rather the opposite, and laughed, declaring, "This little one coming must be a jolly joker and thought that was so funny." It wasn't the only thing that was happening in that last trimester. A ball rolled out of nowhere, and electronic musical toys would play songs when off. 🥰

Howie, I wish you could get Tyler lined up with Joe Rogan, he's a skeptic as far as I can tell on this stuff! I've recently come to terms that I am a lil bit of a medium myself... sometimes random famous people that have passed come through to me to deliver messages, but the most recent are sone of my family members stopping by right after passing. I personally don't sweat when the departed come through to me, but I normally will either have a migraine or just come out of a migraine and be in a very peaceful/grateful place when they come through. But I definitely get a migraine when I channel or communicate telepathically with the living.
