Can we have a video on dendritic, moss, and/or Montana agates? I know they're common, but they're cool (even if they don't technically fit the definition of an agate).

Hi, I'm from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil - a little close to Ametista do Sil. It is very common to find crystals around here, you can trip and fall if you don't watch where you're going! Each geode is a surprise!

I have a legitimate question/suggestion for the next video, instead of the typical sarcasm. I'm in TX and until recently was under the impression that I just couldn't find any geodes near me. A reliable source showed me otherwise. The struggle for me has always been where to look - near water? Way underground? In active limestone deposits, etc? It would help tremendously if you could explain what geological conditions are most likely to form geodes and then what you should look for while you're hunting.

YES, THANK YOU! I live in southern Utah and anytime I search for places to look down here all I get it “Dugway UT” which is a major geode bed in northern UT and not what I’m looking for at all, it’s so infuriating that I can never find any information on what type of geological landscape/conditions I should be looking for

I can believe there're many kinds of geodes and all of them are so amazing.😃🤩💎🪨 To know where they come from🗺, how they're form and what kind of gems inside🪨⛏ even there's a cave like a geode is very interesting.🤔 I never knew some are completely solid or have some water💧 inside too. Yes, I like to see another video about more geode.😀 Thanks for teaching us about them.👩‍🏫💎🪨

Absolutely would love to see more about geodes! Hunting for geodes is one of several geological items on my bucket list. I have heard also of thunder eggs. I’m not quite sure I understand what these are. I’d love to know more.

We definitely wanted to get to Thunder Eggs in this video, but didn't have time. They're more like "geode cousins" than proper geodes, since they are solid inside. If you're interested, we featured some Thunder Eggs here: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/edqifb2TurW6qoU.html

As a teenager in Tampa, we would collect a bunch of them. We called them Ballast Point Diamonds. They were located right next to the Ballast Point Pier off of Bayshore Blvd. We would get them during low tide.

What about Texas, esp Southern Texas? I found a spot littered with Calcite. Yes, I know it's about the most common but it has really sparked an interest for me as I am brining home buckets of them. It's fun seeing what is inside all these with each being different. Basically these are all fairly small but hoping to find bigger ones.

I'm from Tampa, and we had them right off of Bayshore Blvd beside the Ballast Point Pier. I have since moved to Kentucky, and one of my sons lives in Berea, which has them there. He also owns land in Rockcastle County, which also has a bunch in his streams. Both locations are off of I-75.
