Great video: my clock is broken on my cherokee; and will definitely install it , I have been looking at it; and your video is perfect example for me ; as the clock will go in the same exact place; mine is a 1968-140; almost identical to yours;

Glad you found it helpful. The temperature probe was not hard to install. I put it in the inspection panel above the left main wheel. Easy run of the cable into the cockpit. Had to drill a small hole and inserted a rubber grommet to push through into the cockpit area. Ran the wire along the panel to the D-sub connector. You will have to tap into your pitot static system as well.

I have the same situation, my clock has crapped out in my 1965 Cherokee 140. How many hours did it take to install? Like you, I have the funky original Piper instrument layout and it worries me a little that it would be hard to see around the yoke - especially with an iPad.

Hello. I had to reposition my iPad mini to a lower position on the control wheel in order to have a full view of the AV-20. Installation time will depend upon how many of the available features you wish to take advantage of. In my case, we plumbed the instrument into the pitot static system to take full advantage of true airspeed and density altitude calculations as well as angle of attack, etc. probably about six hours of work. It has been an amazing addition to the instrument panel.
