I received the 8” Kraftig today. I love it. Absolutely an amazing product. One day in, I’ve made 4 small fires in my backyard. I know it’s a good product when I put the fire out on purpose just so I can do it again. 😂

I just got mine and only searched for a video on it because I was so impressed. The scraper works great. I was going to leave most of the protective coating on mine but I guess the correct way is to turn it as you use it to keep it round. Amazing ferro rod -- it really is as easy as he makes it look.

Greetings from a couple hours away in Bigfork Montana, just ordered the 3” hex. i used the spine of my knife to shave some magnesium shavings and the scraper the harbor freight ferro came with its about worthless. but i think ill machine whats left into shavings and save them in a bag. if i order like 100 to include in a bushcrafter knife model is there a discount :p
