UBOAT is a new Submarine Simulator that just dived into early access. It is a survival sandbox with crew management mechanics while its primary theme is life of German sailors. The boat is their home, but it can become their grave at any time.
In UBOAT you control the crew in order to control the boat. You look after their physical and mental health, because if the sailors are hungry, tired and their spirit is low, there’s no chance of winning even a skirmish.

Might have been mentioned- re: "our echo sounder was off..." Keep in mind the echo sounder is going to tell you how much depth is under the keel. You had 69 meters under the keel and you were at just over 40 meters... so you had 109 meters of water to play around in at the time. Which you did briefly- albeit by accident. Not sure why you ended up going that deep but... you recovered nicely.

Ya, the northern coast of Ireland is a better spot, me thinks, as far as safety. RAF bases are nowhere near and a ON convoy route goes right through there.

Your flak gun should be a 20mm automation, so it should do enough against unarmed ship, The tactic for must sub aces, was to surface point blank range and fire the deck gun less than 200 meters, and ring sight should be sighted for 300 meters to help you. Keep up the videos im enjoying them, my computer can't handle the game

From my reading these flak guns varied from 20 to 37mm so it is not that outrageous that one of these guns could sink a smaller vessel at medium range like that. Good Work!

Flak gun on the tankers actually works pretty well also. They catch fire and explode quite easily most of the time. Thx for the vids!

The only thing I’d correct is that it’s not just the coast of England. The Celtic sea is called that because Celtic nations such as Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man and Cornwall all have coast that meet it. Over in the UK the Celtic nations here don’t really see England as Celtic and also England isn’t the whole of the UK.

Do you chose AP for your deck gun because it seems like they would actually use HE considering that most merchants and even DDs sides and superstructure are only about 12-20mm thick.

I have to say that I like Silent Hunter III and Cold Waters better than U Boat. I don't know why but it just seems that U Boat isn't as refined as the other two. Great game play though. Keep it up!

Hey Wolf, so I've been downloading the ARB WIDESCREEN GUI 1920 x 1080 mod. And I run it with GWX3 but every time I try to strat a patrol or single misson it crashes...
