Hi Will, I’m glad you found this video helpful. Also congrats on picking up a APC9 Pro. You’re going to love it. B&T makes amazing firearms. When you get time, you should check out some of my other videos on the APC9 Pro. There are two upgrades I think are must haves. They are also cheap and easy to install. The one is changing out the safety springs and the second is the safety paddle delete. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great day!

I would suggest trying to move the kdg mount and checking for play. It’ll seem very tight but if you grip your gun and try moving it it might move. I had one for a t2 on mine and I thought it was solid and ended being front to back play so I swapped to a geissele and that’s rick solid
@UBRArsenal
@UBRArsenal 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the heads up. I just checked the kdg mount I have for any play and there is zero play. I've put over 700 rounds through it with this mount and haven't had any issues so far. Thanks for watching!

UBR Tech I bought an APC9 Pro -G, partially because of your videos. I love it. Have you thought about a light set up? I did a modlite 300 series with Arisaka mount and a mod button lite pressure pad. Looks like Geissele discontinued the trigger.

Thanks for the great video. I also picked up an APC9 Pro late last year and haven't brought it to the range yet. I did find that "checking for function" and charging the charging handle was difficult like the spring was really heavy. Did you also notice this? After time, I"m hoping this starts to get easier.
@UBRArsenal
@UBRArsenal 3 жыл бұрын
I did notice this and over time it does get a little easier. I did have to replace the spring weight for the safety lever. If you decide to do that upgrade I have a howto install video for the new springs. It feels way better. I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

@@UBRArsenal What ammo do you use? Did you happen to use 9mm NATO rounds to break it in or did it fire anything you tried first time?
@UBRArsenal
@UBRArsenal 3 жыл бұрын
@@numb-lock I didn't run any special ammo to break it in. To date, I've had zero malfunctions. I used a mixture of ammo through the APC9 Pro. I even ran some Hornady critical duty to make sure it could run defensive ammo and it was able to run that flawlessly too.

A very informative video as I’m thinking about purchasing this pistol. I’m looking at purchasing it w/o a brace. I’ll then to purchase a SB tactical stabilizing brace for the B&T APC Pro. I don’t see this as a difficult modification base on your video, is my assumption correct? If necessary, what additional parts do I need to purchase beyond the stabilizing brace? I want to keep it as a non NFA gun. I look forward to your response.
@UBRArsenal
@UBRArsenal 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Mickey, you're correct, adding a brace is very easy. I made two additional modifications to my APC9 Pro. I added a safety delete paddle for the right side of the pistol and I changed the springs for the safety. The reason I made these changes are because the safety paddle on the right side of the pistol would dig into my hand. I changed the springs for the safety because the original springs made changing the safety status way too stiff. If you decide to add these modifications to yours, I have both how-to videos on my channel. Feel free to use them to assist you in the installs. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Have a great weekend.

How do you like the MRO? Does the bolt hold open work with manual manipulation?
@UBRArsenal
@UBRArsenal 4 жыл бұрын
I was a little disappointed with the MRO. The one I received was defective and I had to send it back. I didn't request a replacement. I had high hopes for the MRO too. I totally understand that you will get some issues like this with any mass-produced product, but I decided to go with an Aimpoint T2. I most likely will do a review video on the Aimpoint T2, once I get time to use it. If the Aimpoint T2 doesn't totally impress me, I'll send it back and try my luck with another MRO. As far as the manual manipulation of the bolt hold open. Yes, it works great. Thanks for watching and please subscribe. ;)

@@UBRArsenal thanks for the reply. I have aimpoints on most of my other rifles so I guess I will bite the bullet again and snag a T2 for my ACP9. Can you tell me what red dot mount you are using,and is it quick disconnect?
@UBRArsenal
@UBRArsenal 4 жыл бұрын
It's called the Kinetic Development Group Sidelok Mount Lower 1/3 co-witness. I love this mount. All you do is place it on the rail and it locks on the rail. To take it off, all you do is push the button in to detach the mount. When it locks on its solid, no side to side or front to back play at all. I hope this helps and don't forget to subscribe. ;)

Should I get the 5 or 7 inch. Probably a stupid question but still need your opinion. And why also
@UBRArsenal
@UBRArsenal 4 жыл бұрын
I think you're talking about the barrel length, if not let me know. I went with the 7 inch because I feel like it gives me more room to get a good grip on the rail. It also gives you more options to add any accessories you want, like laser/light combo and angled grip. Hope this helps. Don't forget to subscribe. ;)

Let's call this one "field strip"....which takes place just before "disassemble"....
@johnwalter6410
@johnwalter6410 Ай бұрын
This is called Field stripping not disassembly. Disassembly is taking every pin in every spring and every charging handle and every little piece completely apart as if you were going to Cerakote it. I need to know how to get those off. And I’m not talking about the folding part I’m talking about the part that holds that part that you onto it goes all the way through the upper and holds in a piece of that sliding mechanism and I cannot figure out how to get that damn thing apart
