Excellent tutorials. Easy to follow. I'm doing it on Unreal Engine 5.2 and it is working fine. I would recommend them for anyone new to Unreal Engine or who wants to learn how to create building parts that snap together. I'm also learning a lot about the engine as I go through them. I'm up through video 13 in this series and plan to finish them all.

really under liked. those videos are good. i like the way you code. it's clean and use a lots of good technicles. i rarely use BPI due to its complexity when you dont know exatly how to use it. With your tutorials, we learn a lots.

This is a great series so far. One thing I would like to see is when you do the inventory section, a popup where it shows the number of resources for the entire build. Then if you have all the resources, a button that can set the entire build rather than one at a time. That may in the end require a Master Buildable though/

Thank you for making these videos. It helps a lot, I've been following for about a month now and I have a few suggestions for future additions to the system. After implementing this to a inventory system Id be very curious to see your process on creating 3D widgets for it. Widgets that are basically menus attached to the buildable objects after placed in the Neutral mode ( Grey color ).

I love it, but this is a suggestion can you add the little Dust particle effects when you place the item or the little sound
@ItsMeBro2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the suggestion, I'll write that down.

that would be best for when the ghost image is completed to the final build, instead of when the ghost image is placed down! But yea, nice point :)

Hi, your videos are amazing, you are turning a noob into a pro. lol I have a small problem with the window, when I install it, it has the static mesh ready(material) and when I press it 3 times it turns gray, I have already reviewed the code 10 times and I don't find the error.

Really good tutorials man. I'm having a little issue with trying to promote the variable cost inside of my buildable at 8:30 into the video. All I am getting is (Cannot place variable 'Cost' in external scope 'EventGraph'). I did try going back to the beginning of this series and trying again from scratch but I cant seem to get around this point. Any ideas why this is happening. And thanks man for all this brilliant content.
