Great video Jay! Glad you were able to test at greater distances. The units performed well! I enjoyed how you mounted the remote unit, i.e. Haley holding it on a stick. Haha! Seriously though, great job!

*NOTE: No corn was harmed in this road test. 👍 And let me add my own cable modem subscriber speeds (for which I pay $100/month). 96down/12up, not FAR off this wireless bridge. Not bad,... no siree. Not bad at all.

Great video, Jay! Wireless bridges are pretty amazing in what they provide. I have a couple setup between building and they are rock solid.

Yeah they are cool. I have one doing a 10 mile link between two very tall roofs but I haven't been able to make a video on it yet because it is station related.

Did each device have a wan and lan port? Looks like you are only running one cat cable into it. Does the internet run into the power adapter and then to the device? Maybe I’m setting mine up incorrectly. Can’t get them to work. Trying 2.5miles no obstructions. I have the CPE999 device which is marketed as the CPE10KM on their website. Also there is no signal strength meter on these ones and the lights are so dim during the daytime I can’t tell if they are on or not. lol.

I was just doing LAN to LAN as these units don't have a WAN port on them. I have done a 10 mile link before at work that lasted for almost 7 years but that was on tall buildings. How high are you able to put your antennas? You are going to need some height in order to go 2.5 miles.

@@TVJAY one home is on top of a hill about 700 feet higher than my other home at 2.6 mile distance. Clear line of sight from the roof of each home. Discovered the slave device radio isn’t functioning. Connected to both directly and the 5g radio is not functioning on one device so I need to figure out how to contact them to return one of the devices.

Pretty cool. Would you have been able to use iperf to see what kind of speed difference there was at the test location vs doing an Internet speed test?

Honestly, I should of done that and thought about it as I was recording the video but I had already boxed up the units for return to Tony and simply didn't have time to re-do the test.
