Es war der 3. Juli 1974. Ich war das erstemal im neuen Westfalenstadion in Dortmund. Eine bleibende Erinnerung für mich. Damals war ich 20 Jahre alt. Seit dem habe ich als Fan von Borussia Dortmund fast 1000 Spiele in diesem Fussball-Tempel gesehen. Aber dieses WM-Spiel war das allererste. Diethelm Ameler jetzt 69.

I was only a little kiddie when I saw this live, Brazil were like football gods so I was watching and waiting for them to do their magic on the Dutch. After this game I was converted to total football and my idol was Johan Cryuff.

Veo recién este partido. Dos escuelas muy distintas el juego fino alegre y muy tecnico de Brasil tricampeón mundial con esa escuadra irrepetible y El Rey Pelé como lider de esa escuadra. Holanda al mejor del mundo Cruiff en ese tiempo 1974 y que tenia un equipo acorazado fuerte rudo (no mal intencionado) era su identidad luchador y algo vehemente para el quite y marcación. Un partido muy disputado de hombres talentosos y extraordinarios para el fútbol Macho de esa época se puede decir histórico. Hoy el fútbol evoluciono y sí traeriamos esos dos equipos del 74 al 2024 el referi se habria quedado sin tarjetas amarillas y rojas o lo hubieran lichado por no cobrar los ataques de los luchadores de esa gran batalla de hombres valientes y apasionados por el fútbol. 😊⚽🏟️🇧🇷⚽🇳🇱

Eu me lembro bem deste dia: estávamos TODOS morrendo de medo do CARROSEL Holandês!!! ufaaaaa... Mas ELES é que começaram a bater forte demaisi, desde o inicio do jogo, e foi um milagre não ter terminado 9 contra 9. O fato é que ainda estávamos esperando o mesmo time de 1970, com Pelé, mas o REI não topou, pois que sabia que já teria a mesma explosão. A qualidade do TIME era a mesma da grande Seleção de 1970, mas o time não conseguiu produzir o que poderia. Enfim, vitória da Holanda, mas poderia bem ter sido 2 X 1 para o Brasil.

Muchas cosas buenas en los Paises Bajos, con grandes jugadores, pero la dureza, a veces violencia en bastantes acciones, le empequeñecen. Brasil también jugo con bastante dureza olvidando su jogo bonito. Una pena, ambas selecciones se vieron superadas por los nervios. De ese mundial y estoy de acuerdo con gente como Breitner y Beckembauer, la mejor selección fue Polonia, tácticamente hacian un fútbol moderno, tenian gran calidad y no usaban la brutalidad de los holandeses.

Talvez se fosse nos dias de hoje, o futebol deles seria criticado e ridicularizado, mas naquela época, era uma novidade, uma nova estratégia para poder ganhar, e tbem futebol mudou muito, naquela época se batia muito, eles chegavam muito duro, com carrinho, mas não era considerado tão violento igual é considerado hoje.

Brasil jugó, a mi modo de ver, su mejor partido del Mundial. No era el equipo de 1970, ni de lejos: faltó Tostao, Clodoaldo, lesionado, Gerson y Pelé (fuera del primer nivel). Los holandeses y su "fútbol total" tenían algunos jugadores con una idea de la patada "total".

Papo furado. Se informa melhor. Pressão política de quem? Dos milicos? Qual o interesse eles teriam nisso? Muito pelo contrário. Eles queriam que ele fosse. Pelé não era trouxa. Não estava mais no auge, a Alemanha era franca favorita, a seleção brasileira era fraca, e ele não quis embarcar naquela canoa furada. 20 anos depois ele veio com aquela conversa mole de que não jogou porque o governo era ditadura. Bem, em 66 e 70, já com Médici, era o quê? Ele só descobriu que era ditadura em 74? E ele nunca se furtou a manter boas relações com os caras. Aliás, com quer que fosse. Pelé era uma pessoa extremamente política, no sentido de não ser polêmico, não contestar, não confrontar o poder central e manter uma boa relação com o comando, surfar na onda que está soprando.

How come everyone did not get ejected? What a dirty, dirty game. Brazil were nowhere near their 1970 glory, but this is not one of those games on which Dutch soccer legend was cemented, either. Painful to watch.

Wat voor atletische spelers had het Nederlands elftal vroeger! Wat waren ze allemaal goed opgeleid in het voetbal en hoe toegewijd vochten ze! Ik begrijp niet wat er nu gebeurt? Het lijkt erop dat er bloedvermenging heeft plaatsgevonden in de genetica van deze coole mensen als resultaat van zoveel migratieprocessen en ze zijn niet meer gezond zoals ik zie!
