I like the progressive metal elements, that heavy breakdown and the existential questions. There's also a reference to Macbeth in the lyrics besides the obvious lines famously known by Snow White tale. This was at BabyMetal Begins - The Other One - Clear Night live at PIA Arena MM, Yokohama, last April 2nd with MomoMetal debuting as the new official third member, she was one of the avengers since 2019 and we're all proud of her, but don't think this as a replacement of YuiMetal, she's like a new incorporation to this group for this new lore and metalverse era. Also the BM logo change, it doesn't have the skull and the heart in the B letter, as well there's only three feathers in the logo unlike four prior to this. The Western Kami Band was in charge of these shows. They performed this at Sabaton's Europe Tour, Asian and Australian Tour, everyone were having a blast with their classic songs and the new ones, this month they got another two shows in Japan with the return of Apocrypha live concerts exclusive for BM fans members of The One. I highly suggest you to check it out "Monochrome", "MAYA", "Believing" and "Divine Attack - Shingeki". Good reaction, thanks! Yes, being different is their business since it's impossible to pigeonhole them and they invented their own genre. And, as you can see, they invest a lot of effort, time and money to continue this way. There are no two songs which sound the same.. well, probably two, but that's a totally different story since they were supposed to be the same... and they are still different. "Mirror Mirror" is one of my favorite songs off their new album, The Other ONE. And I'm very pleased with the mix of progressive metal, metalcore, hard core (big fan of hardcore punk here) and a very, very BABYMETAL chorus. I heavily recommend Ijime Dame Zettai, and Road of Resistance as my first picks. Both Live of course.. Nice reaction. Babymetal so different they have a foxhole instead of a rabbit hole. Check out the song Megitsune. It will help explain the fox reference with Babymetal. You'll start to see the fox a lot when watching their older stuff. This song yup that break is filthy, but you just got to love it. Babymetal doing things differently since 2010.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This is a compilation from the two-day shows on April 1/2. When you watch it carefully, you will notice the difference in symmetrical mirror image of Su, Moa and Momo in the introduction. The parallel two images in different outfit are from Day-1 and Day-2 respectively. The fast passages sung by Moametal and Momometal is quoted from "Macbeth" by Shakespeare. The sound is studio version in this MV, but West (American) Kamis played live at the venue with their heavier and nastier undulation. 😄 Anthony Barone is one of my favorite drummers . His sound is hefty and vibrates my visceral organs. I am honored to have been one of the audience at the both shows and saw the new BM begin. What an epic moment in my personal history ! Regarding the contrast between English lyrics and Japanese lyrics, Su said "I understand that two languages express two-facedness of human being". [Source : magazine PMC vol.27 page 39] So the difference between almost natural voice and effected voice may be intended to emphasize the dichotomy.
