Ukraine Army Chief Reveals "Worsening" Situation On Frontlines | Zelensky Hiding Russia War Toll?

Though the US has approved a $61 billion aid for Kyiv, the assistance may be a little too late for Ukraine’s outgunned forces trying to prevent Russian advances. Ukraine’s army chief said Kyiv's position on the frontline had deteriorated and that Russia had made several recent battlefield gains. "The situation at the front has worsened," said Oleksandr Syrsky, the commander-in-chief of Ukraine's military, on April 28. A report by The Washington Post said President Volodymyr Zelensky had deceived the public about Ukraine’s actual military losses in the war with Russia. Meanwhile, the US admitted that Russia’s forces were not as depleted as was understood and that Putin’s troops had adapted on the battlefield.

Maybe you should take a look at the military maps to assess more accurately what do You mean by Russia is winning. Captured 5 empty villages and bombed flat one town of 12 000 pre war population („liberated it“ in Russian terminology) since last summer? 50000 confirmed killed in action (strictly based on public funeral announcements). Not counting lost people, not publicly announced funerals, heavily injured.

Ukraine did not fall and will not fall. Just because this biased news says something does not make it true. The math does not favor Russia either. To win, you need to handle a loss ratio of 7:1. Russia only has an advantage of 3:1 in terms of population. The West knows it and Ukraine knows it. The West also has lethal weapons to give to Ukraine if the condition really worsens. Russia has mobilization and Ukraine did not until now. Now, cluster munitions and long-range weapons are flowing in. The West is still ignoring the Kerch Bridge for now. There is a lot of fighting that Russia needs to do. At a minimum 3 more years or longer.

Their pro russian gov was against, protests started then ukrainians overthrown gov. And then Putin used people of russian ethnicity from luhansk an donbass to start process of separation while sending soldiers in disguise to help them, ukraine responded in military actions (for their own injury they allowed creation of far right Azov batalion with some neonazi tendenceis which gave them bad name further used by russia as escuse to attack along creating panic of nato supposedly trying to get close to russian borders to destroy them), then russia annexed Crimea, donbass and luhansk generally at civil war with rest of ukraine, then fast forward couple years and russia make huge huge military "excercises" which seemed to be preparation to invasion that people couldn't take 100% seriously and then suddenly the invasion. Ukrainians defend as you could imagine, and two years later war still continue.

Rich corporations, banks and tycoons, make billions from major crises. The entire system in the US is designed to favor the extremely rich. Everything goes in a circle from one pocket to the other one. When Congress approves billions of dollars in aid to Ukraine or Israel, they borrow that money from big corporations or banks. Companies provide this money from their profits, which they would otherwise have to pay taxes on. In this way, they skip paying taxes and the state repays the debt to them with interest! Can it get any better!? The same corporations and tycoons sponsor political election campaigns. Politicians, more or less puppets, return favors by creating jobs for them by wars, Covid and other crises....and it's all nicely packaged and served as a democratic lie.

I read that it started because a Ukrainian military unit did not wait for it's replacement and left their positions. They were ordered back, but it was too late and the Russians advanced on empty positions. They had to call other units to slow the advancements.
