It seems that the Belarusian volunteers in ZSU were ready to fight against the dictatorial regime in Belarus, but after the escape of Prigozhin, this was delayed. Several of their commanders yesterday published an appeal to the Belarusian military and civilians to be ready to help at a signal: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jrJxZtF_uJ7NaJs.html kzfaq.info/get/bejne/m8yUaZZ51rLYdKs.html

But this imbecile is afraid to state one objective fact: how many square miles has ukraine bern able to re-take since the start of their failed offensive. However, that is not to say there is no value in blowing up the stuff in front of you, because there's only so much of it to go around, and only so many people trained on using them. When it comes to things like artillery ammo and missiles however, c'mon, this is Russia, they'll run out of machine gun bullets before artillery ammo.

I disagree that Prigozhin has shown Putins weakness. What will have happened is Lukashenko offered him another private contract in Belarus and allowed Wagner to leave Ukraine but as a compromise gives Russia some troops as an early-out payment and to help with the ongoing war, as originally asked, instead of ALL of them. This reflects why Wagner would be happy about it, (no more Shoigu) and why it looks like Prigo suddenly u-turned and stepped down. But if any armed convoy with that many soldiers suddenly moved someway towards the capital in any country in the world that isn't already enforced (like Ukraine's was), the leaders would be relocated. The army would be hindered by civilians. The only thing you can say fir certain is that the invasion and the war is a mistake. That is the back door by which Wagner managed to get in. I think the Putin is weak thing is being overplayed. There's no evidence that his grip is any weaker than it was before. If you think it is, show the evidence.

It will be interesting to see where the Wagner forces end up. If they move to Belarus with Prigozhin, then I think this whole affair was an orchestrated deception to, in effect, reposition Wagner forces where they can next attack toward Kiev. It might not take much more than a convincing feint toward Kiev to disrupt a counteroffensive that doesn't seem to be going all that great in the first place.

The guest spoke about what's in it for the Belorussian president Lukashenko. You gotta remember that about 2 years ago Lukashenko won a dodgy election and was facing mass protest and it was Putin that bailed him out. If Russia imploded into a civil war, its almost certain that Lukashenko would go down in a NATO sponsored revolution. NATO would be very motivated to do this because it would complete the encirclement of Russia in the European theatre and its very likely that the CSTO would collapse. So the question is not what does Lukashenko have to gain, but rather what did he have to lose if this led to an all out internal conflict in Russia.

NATO doesn't have to sponsor anything. "NATO" isn't what you think it is. It is not a government, an entity in that sense. It is an alliance of 31 countries that is run by committee, not by a Commissar barking out orders. NATO is encircling no one. By a map, already and take another look.

Americans should be thankful that the coup attempt in 2021 was unsuccessful. But there were lessons to be learned, to be sure. America must pass stronger legislation to limit the capabilities of armed militia groups, as well as step up efforts to infiltrate same. Thankfully, the militia groups present at the 2021 Insurrection were relatively inept.

Has Prigozhin over time amassed any mercenary fighters in Belarus? Where Prigozhin has not gone to escape Russia but to lead an attack on northern Ukraine to take Kyiv. Maybe all that we have seen is to make Ukraine think is now easier to advance into the SE and deploy more troops to that region leaving the north more vulnerable!

Could this be a 'long game' whereby Prigo relocates to BRus then his forces attack Ukr from the North, spreading the Ukr forces thin, possibly stalling the Spring Offensive? Why else would Putin agree to let Prigo live after this mutiny? Where are Prigo's forces, now? Which way are they moving? Sure hope I'm very wrong but this isn't out of the question, given how perilous Putino's situation is currently.
