I think she just didn’t want to be at fault if something bad happened to your hair while dying it, idk giving her the benefit of doubt I do think she should of been more respectful

Few years ago I went to Ulta to buy a purple shampoo as I was going to get my first ombré. I have natural brown/black Latina hair. The stylist that was going to do my hair TOLD me to buy purple shampoo. When I went up to buy the purple shampoo the Ulta employee said “you know this is for blonde hair only right?” And I said “yes I know” and she looked at me with a face basically telling me I *cant* buy it and she said it again “it’s for blondes” and I said “I KNOW but I still want to buy it”. I wasn’t going to give her my reasons for buying it, it was none of her business. But man it was irritating for them to give their 2 sense without knowing the behind the scenes. 🙄🙄🙄

If I were sitting there as one of the people sitting in ulta witnessing this, I would have said something to that stylist. NO ONE deserves to be treated like that. Especially where other people can hear. Im so sorry that happened to you! ❤ love you girl!

Ulta salons are not real salons. The stylist are usually ppl that are directly out of cosmetology school… if even that. All you have to do is apply to be a “stylist” and if they need ppl they will allow you to work in the salon. Miss Lisa go to a real salon next time. I think the girl knew she couldn’t color your hair properly so she refused to do it.

That was a horrible experience. After her putting you down the 1st time, I would have walked away. That already set the tone. Also, DO NOT go to another Ulta. Go get it professionally done with someone who is gonna be able to give you what you want but also keep your hair healthy. Use those Ulta points towards other things.

Now days professionals want to do what they want with your hair nails ect. You can walk in there with an exact style of hair you want and they want to do something completely different. You can go to nail salons you go there with a picture or with exact detail and they want to do something different because they think it won’t look good on you. I do my own shit nowadays cuz I really don’t want to come out on social media or the news for putting my hands on someone for something so simple and stupid.

I went through the same thing that the hair dresser got fired. Your beautiful hair.

I used to work there so I know they don’t get commission but they do monitor our sales in a way so you do get further ahead or perks for selling a lot. I was one of the people that sold a lot, but at least you know I recommended the good stuff, but also the hair salon is a bit separate from ulta.

Mama Lisa my hair was falling scalp showing on my right. I went to so many dermatologist and they had no answer and than I went to a trichologist scalp professional and she commented that I had alopecia because of my hair line. I have a high forehead hair line so I don't know if she was trying to make me feel bad or because she was right . 5 years later no falling of the frontal head just the right but I walked out of there crying...because our hair is our accessory. Till this day I don't know the reason but my hair has grown back a bit but still thin but I understand you dear.

Hi mama Lisa it’s true bout the stylist can refuse to do your hair I was told I could not get mine done and I colored mine blonde all the time n she said my hair was damaged and she also said I would have to cut my hair shoulder length and my hair is long I did not get it done I let my blonde grow out cause it does damage a lot ❤

Money peices in the front and the bottom would look great also a split hair dye one side blonde the other your natural color with a couple blonde peices in the dark side and vice versa you can pull it off

So when using OLAPLEX it is a great product it’s really only supposed to be used by professionals it’s intended for damaged dry hair so when used on healthy hair it will shred your hair because it’s adding a component that damaged hair is missing and for healthy hair it’s way too much it gets heavy and falls I personally recommend K18 💗

This made me so angry to hear you went through this! As an esthetician / provider who does services on women I know first hand that when a woman comes to me for a service she’s seeking help and guidance and a service to be done…..and I will never turn someone away be-littling them. I am so sorry you went through that unfortunately there are ugly people in this world that care more about money than ethics. And that lady was being unethical with you. I bet she felt powerful in front of everybody and boy is she in for it when she finds out she’s in TROUBLE for the way she treated you.

I have had my fair share of rude stylists and its so emotionally damaging. I remember every instance where a stylists made me feel bad. Some people dont deserve to be in that position to provide this service.
