Finally I have a working version of the electric angled ATV snow plow! Forget about the other versions and use this as a template if you are building your own for next winter.

Hey Nils it works awesome good idea using shrink tubing on the ends of the cables . so I just got the notification of your video this afternoon . Thanks for sharing my video I just took off my plow so probably will snow again soon here .

I took it off too, won’t plow any more this season but I have one or two videos left to publish. Plow is still holding up so I think it is working.

Seems to be working really well, I need a atv plow like that but for dirt not snow, keep up the good work 🙂
@NilsKall2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! If you make one for dirt, you should get one that connects in the rear, much stronger!

You got it to work really good. And I really wish I could have a system like this, maybe I need to do a Macgyver for next season 😆

Yes, finally it works! If I knew how much work it would take, I might have skipped it or got a “factory” solution.

Works pretty good. Beats a shovel. Only one thing left to do......come clear my driveway. 12-2022 Michigan USA

Thanks! The trip to you is a bit far (and wet!) but I have cleared my neighbors driveway a couple of times. If I was closer I would help for sure! Best regards Nils in Sweden.

It may cause less stress if your winch cables run straight out/forward to the back of the plow where the cables 90 degree turn out to the edge’s through a small pulley (one for each cable). At the outer ends of plow, they run 45 degrees back towards the centerline of the ATV again to anchor. Cables form two right triangles back to back through 2 pulleys each.
@NilsKall Жыл бұрын
Yes that might be better, will consider it if this version breaks. Thanks for the input!

Nice work. Did the thinner wire work fine on the winch drum without using tension?
@NilsKall7 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes it worked so if you find a thin but strong wire it could be a better way to do it.

Hey Nils , is the cable on the your left on the blade , is it a short cable that is tied off on both ends ? Does it just get its tension from the spring being stretched out ?
@NilsKall Жыл бұрын
Hi, might not understand the question but the cable is shortened and both ends are just tied of. It attaches to both sides of the plow and the short springs are there for tension because it just slipped on the drum without them. I think it is easier to se in the first video I made about this snowplow? Building a power angled ATV snow plow kzfaq.info/get/bejne/arN1espllte3qac.html
@danbradley8052 Жыл бұрын
Thanks Nils . I watched the 1st video & now I see you loosened the cable . Rewound it around the spool & reversed how it came out of the spool ? Is that correct ?
@NilsKall Жыл бұрын
@@danbradley8052 yes! It pulls one end and slackens the other. But the thin cable wasn’t strong enough to hold for sudden jerks. The version in this video seems to work well. Except that the electric motor of the winch rusted due to water inside it…

When does snow stop ? May ?
@NilsKall2 жыл бұрын
Stop snowing? Actually we had the first really warm day today, spring is just around the corner. I won’t plow any more snow this season but I still have some older videos to edit and publish.

@NilsKall Жыл бұрын

I never heard her say that so I don’t know what you talk about. 😜

@NilsKall2 жыл бұрын
@Koivumaa942 жыл бұрын

@@Koivumaa94 oj! Det var lite mer än här! Men gick det bra med Suzukin? Upplevde den som väldigt stark och stabil.
@Koivumaa942 жыл бұрын
