Filipino champ is the hero marvel needs. He makes us hate him by tbagging and taunting, perfectly playing the villain. He's bring the hype back to marvel. Keeping it alive

Love it. All that time considering his team for the final match... 5 seconds in, happy birthday. Doh.

Justin Wong and Filipino Champ are also well-versed in Street Fighter 4, and 2 Turbo HD Remix, ranking quite well in those games.

It's matches like this that still make mahvel 3 some of the hypest shit out there.

I wish you guys wouldn't cut out the croud/player footage every evo I prefer watching it then just the raw match. I liked it when you guys had the "full" version of grand finals for evo 2012 which didn't cut this out. I actually go out of my way to watch it on youtube cause I like seeing the pop offs and the hype in the croud it makes it worth while to watch.
Justin Wong is like Fighting Broly in the Flesh "you cant beat him hes gonna kill us all"

I can see where this can be chaotic but, it does require a lot of skill. Doesn't matter old school vs new school they all require much skill to play. I just hate it when people hate on fighting games because there is something different in it and you can't understand the game. Overall, I try to respect every game even if i don't appreciate it. I try to see the things that people love in it and try avoid the hate.

@Aaron Maxim what makes them hardcore of that they put in 10-12 hour practice time for 6-7 days out the week for months at a time, that's why they are hardcore.
@mindfuck1234511 жыл бұрын
"Spamming the same combo" You say it like doing these combos are easy.
@CrimsonShadowknight11 жыл бұрын
hardcore means you put alot of effort and time into it learning all there is to the game.learning it inside out. while a casual gamer just plays whenever and dont care much for all the mechanics and 100% and stuff.compare it to a pokemon game when a person stops playing after beating the pokemon league to a player who play online get majority of the pokedex or collect shinys. theres a big difference between hardcore gaming and casual gaming

If you can't comprehend whats going on here, what makes you think that you'll be able to take these guys on in something so simple as street fighter 1 or 2?
@aaronmaxim11 жыл бұрын
i said 1 and 2. Thanks for answering my question. Can we change the 0's in your youtube name to actual o's or does the 0's make you more hardcore like gerald up there?

He wasn't eliminated in this match. He got to top 8 and was eliminated by a zero may cry player
@nickroliter11 жыл бұрын
But you said you agree with him 100%? And he said in his comment that they don't know what to do in street fighter 1 and 2... So which side are you really on?

They just like playing on the training stage. Other stages have crazy backgrounds, That tend to be a bit distracting.

justin wong plays alot of fighting games new and old.both new and old fighting games still take alot of work.for example persona has a one.button combo super but try and win in.a tournment with that.not easy.just cause it.looks easier and simple doesnt mean it is.gaming has a very enhanced mechanics.i created my own mugen and altered the coding to make it balanced and created my own mugen characters i understand how fighting games work and they evolve but still stay to the roots of a old school

I'm not aware of which characters they play in SF2, but in SF4, just searching for "Justin Wong Rufus" or "Filipino Champ Dhalsim" should return some good footage.

It was funny seeing this because Filipino champ was popping off against a guy who clearly wasn't as good as him the match before and the crowd started to boo him. Then he faced Justin Wong and got beaten lol.

Ehhh its a bit better than you think. It still takes a very high lvel of skill to play because and because combos are so powerful both players have to play much more carefully.

I can agree with that, but I still think that watching Zero users do the same combo over and over is bit annoying. Anyways I never said it didn't require any skill or that it was bad.
@AlanMru11 жыл бұрын
With a lot of practice (like with anything) it actually is.
@wingnut24011 жыл бұрын
"thats a common tactic" killing an enemy tends to be a tactic :P i think maybe the commentators try too hard to make it sound like there's more to a lot of these fights when there isnt

As someone that feels magneto is the best character is a game i hate that champ uses phoenix and takes away the bars from mag.

Well not anymore, there are people here who are better than him. He plays this more now.

I like MvC when playing casually with with friends, but competitively it looks horrible. Just spamming the sane combo over over and over. I can't tell you how many times I've seen that Zero jump blaster combo or the Virgil swords comeback.

Not sure why champ just didn't start chucking stalking flares after he killed wolverine, he had lvl 3 xfactor activated with Dormammu and had 4 bars! Fchamp knows how to zone with dorm really well but yet he went rush down with him, he probably kickin himself in the crotch for that
