I used to have a friend when I was in elementary school who told me he had every Sonic game ever made (he wasn't even a Sonic fan, and I already knew he was lying). I asked if he had Sonic Xtreme, to which he said yes and tried to convince me he had it, even though it was never even finished, let alone released. So yeah, we all knew those kinds of "my uncle works for Nintendo" kids growing up.

This is probably my favorite fighting game of all time. Killer line up of characters, cool levels, rad music, tight combo moves, awesome group combos... So good.

talking about details at 9:50 , 20:24 its subtle but its a very nice detail that the use of X-factor here is functional in many ways you caught and killed the assist, popped x-factor so you have it on incoming AND because you killed the assist they didnt have enough time to build the 5 bars for Pheonix I know this isnt EVO main stage but that shows a much deeper understanding of the intricacies of this amazing game criminal im only seeing this now but you have done a fantastic job making this video 10/10

I'm worried too, after an undertaking like this episode's game. I'll still be looking forward to episodes with tons of collectibles and challenges worth completing, but casual games that Jirard can play peacefully are fun to see too.

There's an in-game comic that explains the backstory, maybe only in the PC release or something but I doubt it, it's probably in all re-releases at least. Basically "The League of Capcom and Marvel bad guys want to take over the worlds while the heroes were fighting each other in the chaos. They decide to steal power from Galactus to do it, but Galactus notices, gets mad, and game starts"

9:37 If you want a crossover game that has all the character development you're talking about Jirard, I'd recommend Super Robot Wars V. It was recently released, and there's an official English subbed version. It's a tactical RPG though, and I'm not sure if you're into mecha. Still, it's a great game, and I highly recommend it. PS: COMPLETE PERSONA 5! ONE OF THE BEST GAMES THIS YEAR SO FAR!

From what I know of the plot, the villains are teaming up to take over both worlds, and this unity, which threatens the cosmos itself, causes Galactus to take notice. He plans to enslave the most destructive of the villains (Wesker, Doom, Dormammu and Akuma) to be his heralds, and wipe the slate to ensure NOTHING so cataclysmic would ever rise again.

Isn't the whole concept of Namco X Capcom/Project X Zone all about dimension travelling cops who gathers heroes from different worlds though? They all might had done crossovers before, but not all are from the same universe.

nope in namco x capcom most of capcom new of each other already. So while yes certain ones that are made after that game don't know of each other, basically they all know of each other due to the fact that its explained that they all exist of something like a timescale with characters like strider being in the way future

I would just like to thank you for sacrificing yourself for the rest of us. Every Cinco de Mayo, many will be remembering the time the French were defeated at the gates of Mexico, and getting drunk off of gas station tequila. However, I will forever remember when Jirard saved us 50 times from Galactis. (You do have to think though, losing 50 times has got to hurt that guys ego)
