Some of my PSP favourites was re-release of games like Castlevania rondo of blood + symphony of night and Valkyrie Profile Lenneth. Silent Hill Origins also got a PS3 version. Sidenote who actually own both version. Younger Lisa Garland has short hair in psp version but in PS3 port Lisa has longer hair more like her original look in Silent Hill 1. Owned the God of War game aswell. Games I wish I gotten is San Andreas,played the orginal release but never got a copy of my own. Seeing as after so many years that is still my favourite GTA and how the so called defenitive Edition just made it worse. Even with the fixes many bugs remain. Some of the interactive stuff in the original and psp is STILL missing in the that edition. Still dream of a proper remake. But they probably too lazy to remake any of the older ones themselves.

yeah can't agree with youre list at all Jarred i'd probably put FF Crisis core on 3rd for me with first being Monster Hunter Freedom Unite being first not 100% sure on what game would be second (mostly because I'd have to double check which ones were PSP games and which were Vita) but I'm sure I could find one that I remember loving something else more than Crisis Core

Amazing timing! I’ve been playing my PSP a lot lately! One of my favorites is Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection!

When I bought a PSP and a few games, 100% of those funds went to what I thought they were going to.

While I agree with most of these, my personal honorable mentions would also definitely include Valkyria Chronicles 2, Ys VII, Syphon Filter (both of them), Soul Calibur Broken Destiny and Daxter.

I didn't really get how this game works it seems like there is soo much stuff I got lost.

Maybe I'm completely alone in this, but I really, REALLY like Metal Gear Ac!d 2. Not so much the whole, cobbled-together 3D setup, maybe, but as a tactical card strategy game, it really scratched an itch for me.

Dissidia is a phenomenal game but the first one is rendered completely irrelevant by Duodecim, it contains the entirety of the first games story as well as the new one, just with more characters

The port of Breath of Fire 3 and Tales of Eternia. They never got officially released in the U.S. but I love those games so much.

i wouldn't say Peace Walker has the best stealth of the series, but it was amazing to fight giant robots voiced by Hatsune Miku.... also big ups to MaidMint

persona 3 portable is a must play

PSP was such a fantastic system. One of the best handhelds. God of war chains of Olympus and crisis core were my high school experience. I also love shin Budokai and rock band unplugged.

If you play Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker HD on the Completionist, then you should complete the Xbox 360 version on Xbox series X for better performance

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth is number 1 for me. Yea, I know it's a port of the PSX game, but daaamn the artistic and HQ CGI cinematics were just state of the art Enix and it's also where I first played it. I must've beaten that game 10 times fully all the way through!

The fact that we got a tactics ogre remaster and still havent gotten a fft remaster is wild!

For me this was the "list of games I really wanted to play but couldn't because I didn't support Sony consoles" back in college. Man those were the days...

One game that I feel is never mentioned for the PSP is Archer Maclean's Mercury. It's a puzzle platform game, and it's one of the most underappreciated. I love it

I loved Ace Combat X

The PSP... while I bought it for the ports, I also got ALL the Yugioh Tag Force games (7 in total), which in my opinion are the best interpretations of the card game in that era, my first PSP game was Metal Gear Acid, and I did like it, I also had Megaman Maverick Hunter X, KH BBS, Tales of Eternia (misstranslated to Destiny 2), Tales of the World Radiant Mythology, Persona 1, 2, and 3 Portable, Castlevania Dragula X Chronicles and Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max. Years passed, I modded it and added some japanese only games, two of the Tag force mentioned games (6 and Special) and the Super Robot Wars entries

Monster Hunter United was the main reason i bought a PSP. That game was 80% the only played on it. The other 20% was either FF Tactics or Phantasy Star.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 is incredible. If you like multiplayer anime style Diablo/loot based action games you'll be right at home.

So many of my top PSP games are still...for lack of a better term, trapped on the console. Jeanne D'arc, Dead Head Fred, Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner, the Japan exclusive Yakuza games, the list goes on!

I played the hell out of Spider Man 2 on the PSP! Also picked up R&C Size Matters, WotL, and BBS a few years ago, still need to get through those. GBA was always my go to as a kid, but I do have fond memories of the PSP
