I really like the display case behind you esp when the camera slowly widened the shot and panned up to show the goodies up top. Great work youre doing, love your channel.

That is a great looking truck. That chassis is fantastic and the stickers look good. I think the picture or the Proline tires and the old truck body may be a Ford body. I think there is a Ford decal on it. You did great work on this build. You should feel proud of your work.

Only thing that I would have done differently, is cutting the fenders out more to look better with the longer wheel base.

I really like the red body although I think it would look a lot better with chrome bumpers front and rear.

I think it looks pretty cool as it is in the red , personally I’d put the blockhead motor stickers behind the doors rather than on them 👍

Hey man so glad you made that choice of the motors it's nice to see that you listen to your fan base. you made the right choice on this motor I hope you like the way they run. I'm so happy to see you brought the clod buster back after you got rid of your last one .I was very bummed out but then was through the moon when I saw you were building another one cheers from Kentucky in the States.

:) Thanks. The plan was always to build a higher spec Clod vs the old one, but I had to sell the last one to fund this one.

Gavin looks amazing any chance you could do a video of how you mounted the servos and the carbon steering parts as anyone building one of these kits for the first time or with limited knowledge of clods May find it helpful. Keep up the great work 😊👍🏼

The weakness parts are C hub . It’s that parts reinforce enough ? Having a monster truck is so much fun , but it’s not good if it not strong enough

Great job overcoming adversity Gavin. Are the axles strong enough? I find it really odd for a company to make an aftermarket metal chassis but then not have replacement axle housings. Although, if the axles were replaced, would it still be a Tamiya Clod Buster?

Build looks excellent, if I can make a small suggestion I would run a similar body but just a little longer wheelbase so the wheel arch makes more sense. JConcepts make many that you can choose from.

The chassis wheelbase can be adjusted but in the flesh it looks OK, it just looks strange in a few images.

@@RCKickschannel DMS have been around forever, they are mainly off road racing specialists but are also importers of a lot of smaller companies like JConcepts, X-Factory, LC Racing, Exotek, Lunsford, etc

Hi, do you know if it`s possible to jack the chassis up a little bit? And maybe lower the body slightly? I think maybe it is 10 mm too low....Is it just to adjust the shocks a little bit? Otherwise all super good!

Because everyone’s basic energy bills and fuel bills has rocketed over the last six months and its about to get even worse. Inflation has also been extremely high so that’s consumed a large chunk of peoples expendable income. RC cars are fun products and will be the first thing that people stop purchasing.

The chassis is a work of art and clearly has a lot of money invested into it. As for the body...sorry, I'm not convinced...the wheelbase doesn't really match the chassis properly and it looks a little out of place on such a great project truck. Just my opinion but I think it deserves a better body.

Nice build, not my cup of tea really. Especially as I like the rims and arches to line up but it's still sweet! Modelsport UK is just half an hour drive from me! Chevy up front and GMC at the back, oh my OCD! 😱

This is not really a good place to start. First I would get yourself a Tamiya Clod kit and build it yourself. Get that up and running first and then when you are ready, look to start upgrading it as you learn 👍🏻👍🏻
