I setup my tractor with the ultimate watering system using an IBC Tote, a pump, a hose reel, and a watering wand. No more carrying buckets or making multiple trips to get water for me! I can water my garden in one pass with this awesome setup. Plus, I can carry a lot of my gardening tools at the same time. This tractor hack saves me a lot of time and is very convenient. Watering my remote garden is fun again!
The pump I use:
Shurflo 2088-554-144 Fresh Water Pump, 12 Volts, 3.5 Gallons Per Minute, 45 Psi

Put it on a trailer then you can fill it all the way. I just purchased a trailer off marketplace to do the same.

That is pretty cool. I think the ultimate set up would be a hi flow pto driven pump and some bypass valves such that you could pull up to any farm pond or stream and fill it up and the distribute it

You can simply reconnect the hoses to the opposite sides of the pump and suck water or of a pond or stream. You would want to add a good basket filter to stop from sucking muck up into the pump though. I originally thought of using this to pump directly from my creek to water the garden, but it doesn't always have water, so I got the ibc tote instead.

You can modify with some wheel barrel wheels, some fittings, and threaded rod from tractor supply pretty easy. Psut a front hitch connection on and connect to your tow hitch on the tractor. Did that for my Kubota l2501 to pull one for spraying fertilizer.

That's makes a lot of sense. I imagine you can fill it up a lot more with that setup.
