I never got the concept of army building when I was a kid. I had a lot of these vintage figures but I only had 1 of each. It never occurred to me to have multiple copies of Luke in his X-Wing gear and have them stand in as the other rebel pilots. To me, that was Luke and nobody else.

Yeah army building is totally an adult collector thing. I don’t know any kid who had enough money to build an army!!!

This collection is more enjoyable than the new Disney star-wars movies. To me there are only 3 star-wars movie only. Thanks for sharing.

Watching this with tears in my eyes. A child of the late 70s and 80s I had many of the items you see here. Many were out of my parents price range . I remember my first figure was a stormtrooper and I would fly him around in my X wing for several months. Managed to get my hands on many itemss eventually. I shot the lot to pieces with my first air gun in 1985….. what a prick

Oh man!! It’s not easy to live with regret! I bet if you could tell your kid self that day to leave those Star Wars toys alone, you would in a heart beat! I had only a handful of original Star Wars toys as a kid, and my collection as an adult fits on one detolf shelf, so making this video was real eye candy! I’m glad at least these toys have been preserved for us all to enjoy.

Always fantastic 5:07 to see a TT Death Star! Look at that UNIQUENESS! Pieces like that have an GOLDEN AURA that shimmers around them ☀ don’t you see? Oof, it is blinding to look at it for too long.

Absolutely Iconic! So much history preserved right here. Empire Strikes Back was and is the greatest Star Wars entry in the franchise. Even all the merchandise is incredible and most seems valid in its creation and not a saturation of the market (even for the time). Thanks for sharing.

It really is mind blowing!!! They released so many cool play sets and vehicles to compliment the toys, you really could reenact your favourite moments of the films! If your parents had deep enough pockets!!!!

Super glad I never sold off my collection, I literally have all of these still in their boxes except de Palitoy Death Star. Nice display 👌🏼👌🏼 The L-shapes of the mail away displays are appr. $10,- each. A complete set boxed sets you back about $350,-

Wow really?!? That’s incredible! The main reason I documented this collection is because I know the probability of myself owning these is very slim! So at least I can enjoy this collection from afar! The mail away pieces seem very attainable though! Thanks for letting me know! 👍

Always was an Empire guy and I love that Imperial Shuttle (Emperor's arrival) display. Fantastic....although little strange seeing an Emperor's Guard "driving" the shuttle and...I see that the other side is devoted to Masters Of The Universe (cool!) and....where is the Imperial Dignitary from that era? He should be there on display!!

The cabinets are commercial display cabinets. I think they are purchasable from specialty outlets that deal in shop fitting.
