Before Tinnitus I would have considered this sound absolutely unbearable but now, though I still find it annoying, it has a pleasant quality because it somewhat matches the high pitch of my Tinnitus and helps the brain to override the false sound it perceives and loweres its volume. I still perceive it but more like a hissing hum instead of the very high ringing sound.

Exactly my experience. To bad everytime the classic tinnitus strikes back everytime. It seems to get even louder when it comes back, but later on it lowers again to the level I was used to. Frustrating it seems there is no long term cure

Here's to hoping and praying we can get Susan shores device and soon, I wrote a researcher on the project who says while they pitch match this should still work for us. Their pitch matching is up to 12khz. My HF like this video is in the 14-15khz range

This - like all your videos - really does work in reducing tinnitus substantially while it plays / for a bit afterwards. Wow! It is quite amazing and works better than any other attempts at the same I've found online, or any 'masking' videos. How did you generate these sounds? Did you use synthesizers? Thanks a million.

Okay so what does it mean when someone else cant even hear the sound in this video but to me it's super loud and high pitch. I tried to show my husband this video so he could hear what I hear (minus the musical tones, and only the highest pitch) insidevmy head. He insisted he couldnt hear anything, even when I turned the volume up all the way! This is insane. I had to hold the phone away from me. Because it was too loud for me. I think some people can just hear higher pitch sounds than other people, unless he is becoming deaf? Does anyone remember the ringtone called mosquito? It was designed for people who. An hear high pitch sounds than others, like a "silent"way of having a ringtone when you want your phone to ring (I think I had the flip razor when it came out) but not have everyone else hear it. It was neat. This reminds me of that.

it just means you can hear more high pitches than some or others, apparently we can hear up to 20000hz as kids and it gradually goes down to 15000hz as afults or less depending on age, gender, circumstances

This is between 15 and 16 kHz because KZfaq filters out anything over 16. The original file may have had some higher frequencies though.

Same tho T happens to me (edit: got autocorrected - this same thing happens to me but not just with this track, which I find helpful. Any sufficiently high pitched noise has that effect. I see it mentioned so rarely I just figured I would highlight there seems to be a physical connection with the nerves of the throat and ear.)
