This Orange pound cake has a wonderful texture and full of flavour.
There are many pound cake recipes out there,

It's so soft and moist that you don't need any drink together.

Moist Orange Pound Cake
22 x 8 x 7 cm in height
Eggs 2
Sugar 150g (3/4 cup)
Cooking oil 150g (3/4 cup)
Orange juice 200g (7/8 cup)
Orange zest 1Tbsp (from 1 large orange)
All purpose flour 250g (2 cups)
Baking powder 1Tbsp
- Orange syrup
Fresh Orange juice 120g (1 cup)
Sugar 30g (2 Tbsp)
- Glaze
Powdered sugar 60g (1/2 cup)
Fresh orange juice 2 Tbsp
📝 Orange juice used for batter is from grocery (pure 100% orange juice). / Orange juice used for Orange syrup and Glaze is from freshly squeezed orange juice (1 large orange).
Prepare Before ✓
* Preheat the oven to 170℃ (338℉).
* Squeeze and zest a 1 large orange.
* Grease the pan with butter and line with parchment paper, for easy removal.
1. Put the eggs in a clean bowl and beat them lightly. Add sugar and cooking oil and mix. (about 1-2 minutes until fluffy)
2. Add orange juice and orange zest into the batter. Add all purpose flour and baking powder. Mix to combine all ingredients.
3. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 40 minutes in an oven preheated to 170℃ (338℉).
4. Prepare Orange syrup and Glaze to make the cake more moist. Bring fresh orange juice from a one large orange. Take 2 Tbsp of orange juice and put it in a bowl of powdered sugar. Mix well and the glaze is prepared. Add 2 Tbsp of sugar to the rest of the orange juice and microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Mix well to dissolve the sugar and the orange syrup is prepared.
5. Pour all orange syrup evenly over the baked orange pound cake. Allow to cool completely at room temperature for 1-2 hours, then remove from the pan. Top with glaze.
- How to store
It can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days at room temperature. In the refrigerator for 1 week.
