.22 airgun pellet I’m guessing you mean? It certainly could but would obviously need to change the barrel and adapt the shells by replacing the rubber seals for larger ones. The other matter would be the valve tube. When the hammer hits, it pushes the valve (tube) forward so it butts up to the back of the pellet. This is obviously sized for 177 pellets. I guess it would still work on .22 pellets. If not, the valve tube would need to be replaced with a suitable .22 one. And then, if doing that, the end of the valve housing where the valve tube pushes out from would also need to be drilled out to .22 size. Then you would also need to replace the rubber o ring inside the valve as it is also sized for the standard 177 valve. The washer that protects the o ring from the spring would also need to be drilled out to .22. Personally I would leave the valve alone and try it first with just the barrel and shell mods. If you do this please let me know how you get on. I will be changing the inner barrel on mine at some point for a full length rifled 177 one
