Good afternoon Luke, great show and good insight to some of the linked players. For me, and in my humble opinion, would love us to bring in Koyode, Todibo, Goncalves or Vieiga or Baena, Beier with Ndidi and Hurmoso on free’s. Job done, champions league ready…..

Midfield is the very LEAST of any problems now. And most of the players Emery has signed 'also can play in midfield'.

Williams is the dream. Hope he would consider that We wanted him and were willing to pay his buyout long before the Euros. Todibo and/or Goncalves be the next best and most most sensible signings imo. Striker links are mostly good but I do think Duran can be saved Great Pod. Noce to put a face to avfc scout.

@@thomaswood6115 I don't think the wages would be a massive issue on a stand alone basis. It's if it disrupts the wage structure at the club with other players wanting more that it would become an issue. The way to look at it is his release clause is £50m which is more than fair. If he was £60m it would still be fairly cheap. So you could look at it like setting £10m to One side for his wages. Keep in mind that other targets are closer to the £60m mark. A way around any squad disharmony would be to offer smaller wages with a large signing on fee. Always a dangerous move as you've affectively already paid him before he does anything. Would depend massively on whether Unai trusts him or not. It's outside of the box thinking but probably a void discussion anyway as he has turned us down before and can pretty much pick his club.

Nico Williams my god what a player he is would love him but I think it’s abit unrealistic, Gallagher I would prefer over Onana but I think they’re both cracking players I’d like Villa to go sign Mario Hermoso on a free transfer aswell

I read last week our PSR issues was sorted out and we could spend big. This week I read we are as screwed as ever, so I just don't know what to believe anymore. What is clear is that the Premier league and their cartel are determined to keep it a closed shop and so we will have to somehow keep trying to break the door down. If that includes us taking action against the league then so be it. Just read or listen to the Ratcliffe interview to realise what we are up against.

Talking of dribblers I remember the one and only Mark Walters, who would dribble down the wing, beat about fifteen players then invariably trip over his shoelaces. He could have been great if he hadn't been so rubbish.
