Now THAT is a great idea! Use a screen plot to create bedding, barriers, and conceal. Why didn't I think of that!

I got the recommended soil sample through Whitetail Institute think I pretty much corrected the pH I'm in South Carolina so I didn't have a lot of rain but mine only got up about waist to chest High it's still up this year with nice seed heads I guess I'm just going to plow it under and see what happens I'm going with a different companies Sudan grass this year I mean your plat looks absolutely gorgeous but then again you're pretty much backed by the company I would believe

I like it. Does it provide concealment well during winter months?

Thanks for the video. Is this seed mix a blend of a few different varieties of screen plants? Seemed like it is from the video, but I couldn't tell. Also, I'm not big on herbicides and like to avoid them as much as possible. Does this mix work well on it's own to choke out native weeds? Thanks

I sent in my soil sample and conceal was not on the card. I wrote it in but i do not think it they included the right nutrients i need for the soil for conceal. they did a generic one for wildlife food plot. Should i go by this? I have not called the WTI yet.

I would call Whitetail Institute. They will be more than happy to help you and better to make 100% sure

On a second note I've used Whitetail Institute for years and thought their product was pretty good I know they just sold their company but when I called last year for customer information I got a 17 year old kid that didn't know much of anything

I don't think it would do well for the majority of the season. Once everything dies.

Great info guys! One question, do you have to replant it every year or will it continue to grow?
@ALL-In-Outdoors5 жыл бұрын
It is an annual so you would have to replant.

Try miscanthus Giganteus for a perennial option. Grows 13 foot or so as well and spreads through the rhizome not seed
